This has probably been asked a million times but how do you come up with the names for your slaves?    Do they come from the books or is there a specific way to do this or do you just use your imagination??
(bearing in mind by cat is called Thermal Lining not sure I should be left to my own devices!!)

Personally I use often - for captives / force collars - default book names like Dina, Bina and the like. Then I use also Gorean animal names like Leem, Tarsk, Vulo, Herlit and the like.
The books state that giving a girl earthen names would be considered slave names on Gor too - though I guess they mean maiorly earthen names from western culture origin, USA, GB and such.
I have compiled though for myself a list of like 3500 names from various cultures (Hopi indians, over Arabian to Japanese) with their meanings to choose names from for the kajirae. Usually I filter to a max of 5 letters, chosing names that suit their personality somehow in their meaning, and have max 2 syllables of each 2-3 letters. Arabian/Persian as well as certain ancient rome/greek names seem to sound often quite alike or of the same style as the names used in the books.

And I thought my cat's name (Starfluff) couldn't be beat.  Cheesy

A while back, I had a slave and I couldn't think of what to name her so I asked her, "What should I name you?" She joked, "Rotten Apple". I said, "Rotten Apple it is." She said, "Nooooo! I was kidding." I said, "Rotten Apple" and so her name became Rotten Apple, much to my continued amusement (she had a good sense of humor about it too).

I dont get a headache for that, I ask OOC to my RP partner  to choose her slave name. After IC, I do as if I chose it.

Everyone is happy. The typist behind the slave who will play with a name she likes and me who didnt search for hours a name.

But well, I have tendency to consider that my slave is a RP partner and that OOC, she is not a slave, but a role player like me.... When I played a slave, I have been renamed more once with names that I didnt like, that were just vapid. I recall a "Aurella"... Erk...

Lately i saw a really funny name in Vier Palmen. The kajirus name was "du da" (translation "hey you").

I generally let them keep their existing name but its now a "slave name".

I figure this person identifies as Suzie222 Resident and they'll be Suzie to me.

I dont try to get all creative in the naming process and have slaves named "Daddy's Cum Bucket" or any of that other nonsense.  I've seen it, and its just dumb IMO.

I'll take their name away from them, but I just dont have the time or the inclination to rename them so they're changing the name change option every other day as they get renamed recollared rebranded re devirginized.  Meh.
