I just re-read Assasin.. and was wondering if there has ever been a Kajiralia in SL GOR.

just sounds like it would make for some epic (and very weird) rp.

Been a few places that do it time to time.  Been a couples years since been able to be part of one of these festivals but the one time in Cardy it was a blast, although far too short lived. 
If I recall the slaves got together, stole all the men's clothes and hide them, had a game of catch and question the slaves to get them back, plus the usual stuff of slaves drinking, dancing and accosting the men.

Sometimes you have the odd person that is the buzzkill and rants about how dare slaves act this way without punishment, not realizing that is the entire point of the festival.  I would love to happen upon a city having this again, though that is probably not in Ven's best interest.

I've seen it happen a couple of times, one of the best was in Old Telnus.  thee were about 15 slaves in the City at the time. and a good number of free men and women.  I recall being asked to serve a few slaves paga, which I did most poorly my character was a DISASTER in the kitchen.  and them giving rides on a cart.  

of course there was a large amount of Larma being tossed about...  and fish.  

and more than a few slaves (And one or two free men) ended up tossed into the harbour.

I've participated in a few myself.  Most of the sims I've played on celebrate this about once a year.

It tends to be fun roleplay for a day but any longer and it starts to be a little wearing I found and messed with some of the main story lines going on.

I particularly enjoyed having the warriors serve us when we lounged on cushions in Laura, and the pay back later was worth it 

Also once I had an owner who let me dress up as a free woman for the festival, that was fun too.

Treve when Carter owned celebrated it. It was a lot of fun... also old Cos celebrated. I had to make hot cocoa which of course I burned.  Some of the slaves came up with some orginal tricks to play... I agree one day is fun. Longer is annoying.

and yes I'm thinking more than one day of it would be too much.. and interfere with long running rp storylines and such.

it is, by design.. a break from the norm.

That was so much fun, but the game to get back your clothes was a nightmare for me to organize as the men decided to have thier weekly meeting at the same time. Thought I was fantastic seeing how imaginative they were when they found their clothes had gone my owner at the time spent the day wearing a towel.

I had even started planning prank we could play next time but sadly we never got the chance.

Happened in Treve in 2008, we Free Folks went without our shoes, the slaves went around in a gang tackling the Free and pulled off our shoes to wear. It was hysterically funny to see some of the dainty slaves thumping around in warrior boots and in some cases, oversized kilts as well.
Again in Thentis and the slaves were served black wine by some of the most inept serving hysterical roleplay i've ever read by the Ubar and some of his warriors.
Then there was that slaves ordering the Free to do dance in a sand pit in Teslit..I still cover my eyes remembering the off key singing and inept shuffling down by the physican and we won't talk about what the men did-high kicking and bending over flipping up their ....I still wonder WHERE that warrior found that animation.
It was always a one day routine, and everyone made sure nothing was permanent except the memory and laughter.
