When Gorean sims will have builders able to make a decent build, I will spend more time to visit these sims, at least in OOC (when allowed, cause I RP a FW, I dont have many reasons to travel).

Else, I wont waste my time in ugly cities with sim rules written by people unable to separate IC and OOC.

On 30 Gorean BTB sims, you have maybe 3 or 4 with a good build...

About closed sims, Tyros disappeared from the search list, what has happened?

It is certainly a shame and one of the top 3 builds I have seen in SL Gor.  If the sim is not attracting visitors it certainly has nothing to do with the build.

I will go to take a look, but I dont pretend to be a judge, huh! Simply, sims want to save many prims, and their build are often a mess of textures, of different styles (and finally, for a city without style), and a collection of (bad) textured boxes...

I will go to take a look to your because it's always with pleasure that I visit a beautiful sim!

Sorry for the delay in my reply.
First of all, I will say this, I find it upsetting that so many in SL GOR feel that they are all knowing.
My original post was NOT meant as an advert...........but the simple fact IS that the GRC is here to help promote Gorean SIMs.
And YES, I am NOT ashamed to feel unhappy when someones hard work goes to the ground,  for what ever reason. Closing SIMs always leave a hole in GOR. Even if on 2 people lived there
To many people are judgmental.
The simple facts are that SIM owners spend a of of time and effort in giving YOU, GOREANS, a place to play.
There is Far to much anger shown towards these people by ungratful Children lol..So what if you don't like the way they choose to play GOR.......At least they are trying to give some people a Gor to play in. At their Own cost.
Personnaly, I care NOT if a SIM is GE or BTB or lifestyle or a Mix of nay of them.
What I care about is the respect deserved for these people.

Oh..and the SIM cluster closeing..Is RALR and RalR Woods.
When I joined SL GOR, These were great places and I enjoyed amazing RP for ages..but slowly over the few years since, I have seen drama and unkindness destroy the will of the owner to continue to struggle to provide a home to a few.

So YES, My original words still stand..Give them some respect and we will maybe all continue to ENJOY Gor, not struggle against strong words and negative feelings.

Sad that old sims go away, but definitly there are some changes going on right now. This is fairly normal in the course of things, real life and second life. Just in SL we see things turn over a lot faster. Rarl might not be up for staying open, but I don't see a why. Financial costs for the owner? Real life commitments? Unable to attract players? Concept outdated? Any number of reasons could cause the closure of a sim. And while it's sad to see some go, there's a lot of sims doing very well. Opening search and entering Gor I see twelve sims off the top that represent well-trafficked BTB and GE roleplay, GE combat, and even a couple that are more old school in style and setting.
So, the end of Rarl isn't the end of the world. It's an opprotunity for players whose roleplay might have been slow or who were suddenly left homeless to change their story and move on to new opprotunities. Even in the most stellar builds and in the most awesome scenarios, the same thing day after day gets boring after awhile. All the best to the residents of the Rarl sims in their search for a new home.
