Tal and greetings y’all!  I just wanted to do what I do best poke my head out there say Hi and see what I can get stirred up sense I don’t have much else to do these days sense I retired from the first girl business and all. To those of you who don’t know me, and there is a good bit probably who don’t then a fare share who do and wish they didn’t.  I am Nia Dinzeo, kajira to the wonderfully sexy, and oh so smart Maddog Gadsby (hopes that will get her some fudge tonight if he happens upon this post) currently we reside in Teletus.  I am an accomplished dancer and former first girl of Fina and Damnare.  After 7 months of stress, headache, and pulling my hair out.  I decided to take it easy and try and enjoy my life as a slave again.  Not that I didn’t before but a lot of the joy and antics I am known for had to stop while in higher positions to set “good examples”  I felt like I lost apart of me so I am taking a break, and giving my poor Master hell. 

So now I find myself here trying to ruffle a few feathers and give my super sexy Master a break.  I want to use this forum and start some healthy debates.  Get some information from you guys and possibly help direct my character in a positive direction.  Who am I kidding really?  Nia will be nia no matter what anybody says!   

My first topic I wanted to stir up is slave demeanor.  Uptight, strict slaves vs. light hearted or more casual slaves, which do you prefer to see?  Basically,  do you prefer to see in your city, or at your heel the sort of girl who was trained the proper way to do everything and never wavers from that?  Or a spirited sort who tends to test you in a way, knows her stuff had the training but likes to laugh and play?  I have my own opinion of course and I am sure a few of you won’t have a hard time guessing it but I wanted to see some answers first before I went into a full fledged monologue.  Give me what ya got!

I think it's safe to say that most of us want to see a slave who is trained to do her duty properly, regardless of the flavour she chooses to give that service. That's really going to be the primary point -- is the job done -- and the second point will be 'is it done well'.

With that on the table, I prefer to have a slave who will respect, but not fear me. I want one who is intelligent enough to call it to my attention when I am wrong, and wise enough to do it with subtlety, in public. I want a girl with a sharp tongue and a quick wit, with the sense not to use them in front of people who wouldn't appreciate it -- a girl who will tell me all the fabulous gossip that no one is afraid to say in front of a slave.

I want a girl with whom I don't need to be politic, or even particularly polite. And I want to be able to trust that she'll tell me if I'm really being a dick. Not that I'll necessarily stop, just that I'd like the heads up.

I want her to be friendly and funny. I want her to be playful. I want her to have a grasp of subtle condescension -- how to say "Yes, master" in just that way that stretches the limits of good taste, without violating them. A girl who knows the difference between "as you wish", "as you like it", and "by your will".

I want a girl who appears to be sweet and obedient, even when she's giving me a hard time in a public place. I want a girl who can play with me.

But, then, I'm a scribe. I prize wit over all other things, nerd that I am.

I really can't add a lot. The experience I have made with my slaves have been in a similar way then Padraig mentioned. I like them obdient and trained sure, but I don't want to fall asleep cause one does everything right every time and you only hear a "Yes my Mistress, of course my Mistress." But she/he needs to know the line and accept the concequences if she gives me a hard time.

Master Paidraif really nailed this one I almost don't even need to give my opinion. lol yeah right.   However, I do need educated here!  "A girl who knows the difference between "as you wish", "as you like it", and "by your will".   OK I don't know the difference please please tell me!  Is that sorta like "I would love to" , "I realy dont want to but I know I have to", and "I'm throw this darn paga at you" ?  Thats my personal translatoin anyway!

A slave reflects on her master, I believe there actions differ depending on circumstance, location and others present. (or should)

First of all i do not like what i refer to as "dishrag" slaves. Those with all the personality and thoughts of a dish rag.

Girls should be intelligent, entertaining, useful for more then furring and willing to discuss things and have opinions. However they better understand that there opinion, while valuable and will be listened to, is not them making a decision.

should they be spirited? hell yes, but not all the time. If i am talking with an Ubar or some other high person and they are behind me misbehaving, its ass whooppin time.

at home, playful is fine, when nothing important is going on, playful is fine.

I hate to use the children analogy, but it fits here. When i raised my kids they had "bank manners":" company Manners" and others. Different levels of what was expected of them depending on where they were. When they were in the bank. Mouths shut and stand still (or other such place) when in the backyard romping with there cousins with there aunts and uncles over, another level but basically free to play, when just the kids around, friends what have you, go for it and get crazy.

Same with slaves, much depends on where and with who

And yes i believe they should be trained in the proper way and know how to not deviate from that, doesn't mean they wont of course, but shouldn't when circumstances require it.

and as to slaves testing me, hell no, thats a huge ass whoopin as well.

Yup..what Havoc says.. you reflect the wishes and desires of your Master.

I dont like "shadow" slaves.. empty vessels that show no personality, no intelligence, no humour.

I know somebody who sets a task each week for his slaves to do something pleasing and unique that will make him happy.... that is the essence of slave demeanour.. a desire to please in whatever manner your owner wishes and wants.

If you suspect your actions and demeanour would not please your Master... then that is your guide.

On the other side... if your master doesnt care if you act like a princess, allows you do whatever you please, act in whatever manner you want.. then HE is not a Master.. he is just some guy you hang out with, who you call Master in open chat and probably call him Arthur in IM.

"As you wish" is sort of like "Sure! No arguments from me!" If you've ever seen The Princess Bride, you know what I'm talking about.

"As you like it" is the nice way of saying "I think you're crazy, Master, but if you really want me to do it like that..." It's the correct response to something like "Bring me ka-la-na, but with cream in it."

"By your will" is a registered objection. It's a sign that the girl will do it because you're the master and you said so, but she wants it known that this was all your idea, and she's only doing what she's told. It's right up there with "I take you at your word", which I use regularly when I don't believe someone, but I intend to behave like what they've said is perfectly true. It's a warning.

So, yeah, you're pretty close, Nia!

Wow, great answers.  I have not found one person I could start anything with yet lol !  I agree completely with pretty much everybody here so far.  It’s important for a good kajira to know her stuff, but not be consumed wit the technicalities maybe.  Like ‘it was said in a previous post. “there is a time and a place for everything”

I am guilty of going overboard with my antics.  I know my place as a slave, but like all slaves I need to be reminded at  times.  So it would be up to my Master to do this.  My demeanor I have come to learn is a direct reflection of the chemistry with the one who owns me.  I in rl am goofy, silly, crazy, and quick witted.  So naturally that is going to come out in my character.  My master has to have the ability to let me know what is to much for him and till I find out I’m going to keep dishing more and more.  On the other side of the spectrum I am shy in rl and because to me my in world character is a virtual reflection of me in rl, nia can sometimes shut down emotionally. 

So I do not care for the up tight kajira, the kajira who try to belittle other kajira with there emoted thoughts.  I hate that from ANY character. Don’t get me wrong kajira did often have rivalry for attention of the Master, but emoted thoughts is a cheap trick.  Say what you got to say is that’s how you plan to get the attention.  If you can’t say it that’s no excuse to think it nobody would know that is what is on your mind anyway.   Even though were supposed to be heated and pretty much horney as a pleasure slave I really don’t care for the over sexed constant emotes of girls basically masturbating on there masters boots, but perhaps that’s just jealousy cause I don’t have the nerve lol.  I don’t like experienced kajira who serve step by step the same old serve every time, I prefer girls who have fun with it.  Spot an urt and run out screaming like a punk or something throwing paga all over everybody!  I pretty much keep it real.  I put myself in these situations in my mind and think how would I react if I was really there right now in rl, and I most certainly am not uptight in rl.
