its getting bad in gor more and more people dont know about gor and it seems they only want to be in gor for sex and shooting and not learning about gor

its my opinion that if you play a rp you should learn your role

just my 2 cents

Short and harsh words... but sadly true.

One thing that even puts "oil into the fire" is the Gorean Ladder Meter. In the SIMs that use those meters you hardly see anything but meaningless fighting without propper RP reasons. The only goal for some people is to be in the Top10 of the "Most Kills / Most Captures" lists. *sighs*

Oh really, there is a ladder meter? I did not know about it...amazing. All people complain about World of Warcraft...but if you give them a pure soil, with every possibility to build their own world...they build World of Warcraft.
Who has the biggest sword? Who has the most skills in pushing buttons on your keyboard? Who spends the most time riding in circles around a SIM, collection ore to earn money?
These questions are the ones interesting people! Not this stupid roleplay stuff. Smiley

hmm...this is really sad, if it is the truth..honestly I did not make such experiences but if you did..well..the gorean world immo offers so much more then shooting stuff or WoW-style. I ask myself why do those people not stay in WoW if they like it the most.
What's up? Where did your fantasy, your dreams go?...sad to hear that it seems to be more and more boring to some to do a proper rp..a mixture between all those wide possibilities you have, including fighting and sex of course but not as the one and only thing. Come on..give me a sign I know you are all out there Wink

Victor was captured 883 times!
It is so funny when you relate this number to the discussion in SLinfo.de where the question was: Will a warrior lose his honour when he gets captured and forced to wear a collar or even to submit?

* Guru Randwick laughs: And I do not see you lost your honor!

I think you must agree with what I always try to says concerning RP in general: There is no looser! ...   Wink

that is typically how it is these days ive noticed... sad but very true gor isnt the same as it used to be... alot of bad rp as well and invalid bullshit.
something else i have noticed, gor seems to have outgrown the whip in a way. used to be whip the shit outta ya then collar you now its rape the shit outta you then collar you...

Well i can only say that my own experience that the goream ladder meter has a few faults. one it makes the female weaking in a fight But in gor they was weaker if you go by the books.
But i personally think it should be your own skills that makes you win not the fact that you are a male or a female to give you advantages or disadvantages just due to a meter.

Also about bad rp. Its becoming more and more clear to many people are trying to fin loop holes every time they are captured.

Or ooc insults flying all over the place when some loose.

But i guess thats how it is right now.

I´m still hoping that gor will become gor again like it was two years ago. But thats a dream that i doubt will come around..

Take care and try and have fun out there

How would that make any sense at all really..If they are here playing SL..and not WoW why would they want to create WoW..It'd be more of a furry sim.. Shocked
