I read today a note in a German Forum and I will try to translate that as good as I can:

"Sam has died last Saturday. She succumbed to the adverse development of a Myocarditis.

Many knew and cherished her. Many also shared her happiness for the impending happy event.

With her we are losing a valuable and irreplaceable person, leaving behind a dreadful gap. I thank her and god for the wonderful time and experiences that we could share. I do not want to miss one moment of it.

Memories are little stars that twinkle comfortingly in the dark of my mourning

Thank you Sam for everything.

"Sam ist am letzten Samstag verstorben. Sie erlag im Krankenhaus dem ungünstigen Verlauf einer Herzmuskelentzündung.

Viele kannten und schätzten sie. Viele freuten sich mit ihr auch über das bevorstehende freudige Ereignis.

Mit ihr verlieren wir einen wertvollen und unersetzlichen Menschen, der eine schreckliche Lücke hinterlässt. Ich danke ihr und Gott für die wundervolle Zeit und die wunderschönen Erlebnisse, die wir zusammen verbringen durften. Ich möchte keinen Augenblick davon missen.

Erinnerungen sind kleine Sterne, die tröstend in das Dunkel meiner Trauer leuchten.

Danke Sam für Alles.

I also did read it in the other forum - and was paralyzed. I didn't know her personally but -dear god - its such a tragedy to loose such a young woman and the life she carried below her heart!

I feel so sorry... its just not fair....

Even if I only knew her from afar and there have been only a few short occasions when we met I was happy when I heard about the way she was going to take and so much more I do now feel with the ones who shared her life in real an in sl.
It is a hard loss and I it is hard to find words which could express what it may mean to the ones she left behind.

Death is irrevocable , we all know it. Never the less, those who still are alive are deeply touched, sometimes hurt, when an aimed, respected person leaves our human community forever. Death teaches us clear and without ambiguities about the finiteness of us all. There is no way around death for none of us.

Dear Sam, your actions, your typed words, your always positively and constructive mind and behaviour is kept in my mind and in my thoughts and in my doings, aswell as it will be kept in the minds and doings of many others, also in the minds of all those who estimated, loved and admired your company in the SL-community! Seen this way you are not dead, seen this way you stay in us, seen this way your thoughs, your spirit is in me, in us. It will the the input to the formig of new thoughts, hopes, actions; - your thoughts will blend with ours; - evolution, the infinity of the endless universe.

It is a deep, honest need to me to extend my sincere condolences to Sam's family members and closest friends. May you find the strength, the courage and the aspiration to tide over your eternal loss, may you find peace and hope in yourself, in your minds.

Only those who are in life are able and are in charge to honor and to carry a humans work into the future!
