We made it simple, we dont stop people raiding, or finding or searching for Treve.. just please cut out the disney gor and the maps of treve theme and simply mini-map the place if you cant be imaginative and tell people who left Treve to bugger off with this type of silliness.

IC and OOC its simple..any citizens if they leave Treve without any RP, they never existed.

I can name the 12 or so people who can legitimately be of Treve and left for various reasons, they have this Treve heritage as a theme of their characterisations and I personally would accept them knowing in detail where Treve is and able to produce a map.

to name a few

Trenzo - Cor Tarrant
Adoveea Rau
Havoc Rau
Giselle formely of Cos
Galahad Huet - Tyros
Malcomb Danitz
Lilith Illyar

and just these names in themselves tell you how mature, credible and serious RP individuals they are who who claim to be of Treve and are no longer in the TReve group, and I suspect they would RP death sooner than disclose their heritage and location of their birth city.

That said, Galahad might use the information for his own benefit  Wink

Treve is in my back story as I was born there, raised there, met Koh there who took me into the Black caste, and we had a camp there for 2 years. But as Assassins we would never create a map to the city for purpose to sell it.  Only time I tell where Treve is if I am tasking a trainee and before hand I explain to him what would happen if he leaked this information to anyone else.

Koh too has his back story in Treve. He started out as a warrior there almost 4 years ago.

Some BC do know the location on Treve but there again its used for our own work.

Now Carter, don't get your panties in a bunch.
In-world, I have neither a map, nor a source for a map, nor a desire for a map of Treve.
I hit the "view replies" link , instead of the "view new posts" link,, saw this & decided on a bit of thread necromancy, in honor of the state of relations between Tarnwald & Treve. Grin

Carter what of the Black Caste that have been to Treve to hunt? I mean on my last hunt i flew in used a few "alternate" (but perfectly legal routes) to access the city. Wouldn't any BC that have accessed Treve be legitimately knowledgable of the various routes and areas of Treve ? Would this also include the members of the Black Caste that once resided there ?

YESH...I hate going to the cities of dust, it's like I'm illegally sneaking into an exclusive club there and the bouncers eventually find me and fling me out (generally  24 hours later) with a "You're not allowed to stay here! Get back to those slums called Gor where you belong "
And I, with all my raggy tattered long history slunk back to Gor shaking my fist at the cities of dust "someday I'll LIVE there and you won't be able to get rid of me".

Sorry to come across all tetchy and pouty .. it just a sore point when the 5th person arrives at the gate claiming to have a map sold to them...

I wonder if there is a Gorean Satellite Navigation System out there that shouts at people "Turn left Master and continue 300m up the path and you will arrive in Treve"  Wink

Yes, actually.

Dove's newest release of the Family Tarn series will have the "GNS" as a factory-installed option......rumor has it that it'll be in the 2 silver price range.

Yesterday we had three turn up at the gates during the afternoon , although the last made the wrong choice , he grappled over the wall only to find the courtyard was full of warriors come to compete in our FS tourney, I think he made  it almost to the arena before being cut down
