I do not know if anyone else has noticed. But crossing the sim line with a Havoc Rau tarn normally take 10-12 seconds or longer to cross. Which means death for most of us that are fighting. Help Anyone?

crossing sim boundaries is a pain at the best of times, but I find the slower you fly the easier it seems to be, still not quick but doesnt take that long

Depends on the persons computer, takes me usually 3-5 seconds. And Grondar is right the slower you go the smoother the transition

Also one explanaition I read is that when you cross sim boundaries , EVERYTHING you are wearing or carrying  has to be transferred to another server and that can take a while anyway , so crossing naked whilst not carrying all your weapons in both hands will halep

It's three factors:
1) The major factor: the flight program being used and how it is complied (runs)
2) Your computer and frame rate. Frame rate is 30 frames. Slow computer processing means that the program runs slower (see #1).  Crossing a sim line at an angle, curve or anything but a straight line you're asking for trouble and slowing yourself down.
3) The number of prims-both on avatar and passengers? See Factor #1 and #2
