A member of the Artisan caste has just joined Treve. For fun, I challenge you to find out who it is!

Hint: The person's skill is in the painting of portraits--I wouldn't be surprised if the Ubar of Treve himself did not commission his portrait done by this talented artist.

~smiles~

Oh god not another portrait, I can recall the last one he had, where he bullied people to buy one to display in their homes (i think mine is on my tarn landing pad, to prevent tarn poop staining the stones) , i am sure he will find a way of selling...er.i mean getting donations out of his citizens for the picture, I look forward to seeing the work of this talented artist , just dont expect me to buy another picture of the Ubar , he is deluded enough as it is !!

on a lighter note, I may commission a picture of my FC the Lovely Lady Onna, I could do with one in my room for when we are apart.

damn.. I was only saying to the Ubara how we should have a joint portrait done for our citizens to see how united, loving, committed and inseperable we are.. like two soul mates entwined in a joint destiny on a discovery of emotional bliss and happiness.

And also it would be a great way to get obtain more donations for the Treve Orphans Fund and remember,  charity begins at home.. ermm well My home actually  Wink

It was hilarious.. He made the city slaves sell them and I went about doing it and lecturing why people should get it. course then adding the Ubar wont be pleased if they didnt (if I really had to!) so poor Peasants would buy them.. Course everyone found a specific use for it.. One used them to chase off panther, another for a mat on the door.. and for target practice.. good thing the Ubar has no idea of all that! Least lina sold a lot and got the gift she was after lol

There is also a group called the Jewell Theatre - part of the Entertainers' Caste, that has their own stand-alone sim, unaffiliated with any specific City, but they travel to many.  They do nothing but Gorean-themed plays.  In fact, the three-month run of their tenth production just finished earlier this month.  They've been doing plays for the last three years, anything from dramas to comedies, all exceedingly well done, the sets are amazing, etc etc.

If anyone would like more information on them, you can contact Fake Jewell, or Ketter McAllister, or message me, and I'll be glad to enlighten you.
