A Worthy Enemy?
by CM
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Two Fina warriors where captured this week, after trying to beat the brave Warriors of Treve. As Warriors, one with the rank of Commander, you would think that they would have more respect and behave with more dignity, if not for their fellow Warriors, then at least for themselves. But no! They did nothing but whine because things didn't go their way. They even dared to lash insults upon our Ubar, criticizing his uniform and haircut..it would seem that these men are in the wrong caste, since their interests were more for fashion and hairstyle than the Honor of the Red Caste.

They spoke as those who began drinking paga with breakfast, insulting the Treven's who held the fate of their lives in their hands..questioning whether or not their captors knew the Warrior Codes! It was quite obvious that they were the ones lacking the knowlege of their caste codes, behaving as low caste drunkards.

Because of these childish men in the cells of Minus, our Ubar is filled with rage.  We all know how proud, strong and handsome he is and we also know how short tempered he is. He was overheard calling them things like "Finian bosk fuckers!", "Vermin pests!", "Cowards!" and "Juvenile annoyances!" I think it safe to assume, the Ubar was a bit annoyed that Fina had had the audacity to send immature brats to fight His Mighty empire.

His final words, before he washed his hands of these pitiful men were..."When will we find an enemy worthy to fight? GOR is filled with boys with swords, not men worthy of the title Warrior!"

Grondar's "problem"
by GQ
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Grondar to be a father?

While scouting the village of Sais with his soon to be FC, Abygail Wahwah, and his slave ariel, his slave became ill, fainting and feeeling sick. Prompted by Abygail, Grondar insisted that the slave see the physician of Sais who confirmed that she was with child. This amazed Grondar who knew that the slave had been taking the necessary medicines to prevent this from happening. Upon questioning the slave, she revealed that while in Piedmont, she had listened to her Master conversing with a FW.  He expressed sorrow that he had no FC to bear him children, the only woman up till then willing to FC him, had in fact turned traitor and been executed. Ariel, loving her Master more than life itself decided, on her own initiative, to take breeding wine unknown to her Master. Intitially blazing with anger, his first thought had been to slay the slave as she had taken from him the choice of who to breed with but seeing the love and devotion in her eyes, he relented and took pity on her as her only crime had been to love him too much. The FW  was a physican, with intelligence and kind compassionate, all the qualities a fine FC would be. Grondar now intends to let the birth go ahead, freeing ariel for the event and then enslaving her immeditely thereafter. He of course hopes for a healthy boy who, being born to a free woman, will be a fine and better warrior than his father.

A new payment form has been created and will be used in The First Bank of Treve. Each wage-earner has to have a "Signature for Acceptance of Wages" scroll which will be handed out each week by the Scribe slave, carin. If you do not have this scroll or haven’t filled it on pay day, no wages will be handed out.
If for some reason you have not received your form by Friday of each week, contact LadyFlame Aulder or the Scribe slave, carin.
All questions and comments about this new payments form should be directed to Lady Flame, Banker of Treve and no one else.

The Bank will be distributing wages on Saturday and Sunday of each week and, as always, the Warriors wages will be provided the first WEEK of every month.

I wish to work with you as best I can to help the good citizens of Treve; however, there is much work to be done and I need your assistance and understanding.

With much regard,
LadyFlame Aulder
