Needs Dance Exhibition that was held on 20.6.10 in the fields of Minus....
Lady Red smiles as she opens up the post today having had a day off yesterday putting her feet up and drinking copious amounts of paga laden with ramberry juice *sssh dont tell anyone of my favorite tipple* not to mention wedges of exotic chocolate :-) ~~~
So I want to thank all of your for your very kind and generous words about myself and well deserved words for the slaves dancing, they were truly fabulous, I was already impressed with my students work, but some of them had quite obviously worked hard in the last week tweeking and polishing up on their writings, so it was an eye opening moment to read even better writings than I had before, well done, I am so so proud of you all.
The DJ ran so smoothly with his timings of the music and I would like to recommend to anyone else holding a dance to use him, his name is Allan Jeffries and was a complete pleasure to work with.
I think we had nigh on 40 people in the tent, had scary moments at the beginning thinking the lag sleen would jam up all the dancers, but it all came to fruition.
Unbeknown to me we had the infamous Gorean Dance Reporter ~ Samos Madrigal ~ amongst our midsts, and below I will paste his comments, I believe that Treve of course is the best City for rpers because of many reasons, but also our ability to allow everybody to enjoy 'the game' with their desires, beliefs and wishes. Both nancy and nettle had the extra challenge of dancing for a Mistress still embracing being pleasing to the many Masters around, with the 'Needs' scenario and keeping it tasteful and in keeping, and akio dancing in a room with many Master's around, also depicting the essence of a 'Needs Dance' for a Mistress, without getting either any of us Ladies in trouble, or his throat cut by angry men *laughs* - both Beth and Kellan surpassed any high expectations I already had of them with their beautiful performances, and I hope I see all students again grace us with their presence through the GTA ~ Raelen Summerwind one of the intended dancers unfortunately had net issues, she will be dancing hopefully for the Exhibition of the 2nd set of Needs Dance Classes when this is scheduled.
So a thumbs up to Beth Landfall, Akios Hendes, Kellan Lighthouse, nancybomb Galicia & nettle blackthorne, please see the picture below of their certificate giving and the reporters comments underneath.
I would also like to thank those slaves who so generously gave me thank you gifts and speech, this really tickled my heart cockles and made me smile.

Warrant for the arrest of Lady Liliana Aluveaux, which was served well by the warriors. The Lady plead guilty to the charges of acts unbecoming a Free Woman, and resisting arrest as well as evading arrest. Under the terms of pleading guilty the Lady submitted to Warrior Ashaka Svenson.
Also the magistrate witnessed the manumission of Lady Fey Farlight from warrior Grandel Bourne, congratulations to the Lady.

Some would wonder why the Captain of the Mercs Sir Mord would want to visit the colder parts of Gor, maybe it was because of the beautiful sights, the crystal clear rivers, the mountain tops covered in snow who knows maybe it was the cold free women or the mouthy bonds, But no it was a paid job that lead the Captain of the Mercs Sir Mord to the Village of Ironhall. With him he had the brothers by blood Arien and Draven whom both work under Sir Mord as Mercs in Minus, but also the newly appointed Magistrate's slave love.
They walked into the Village, never had their weapons drawn, just acted as if they belonged and of course went to the Long Hall for some mead, where a local bond was asked to summon the Slaver, the man entered the Hall some ehn later, Sir Mord sweet talked the Slaver into going to a more private place to talk business with the excuse of wanting to purchase the bond bina, after a while the men walked back outside where the Mercs Captain drew his sword and captured the Slaver, Sir Draven and Sir Arien both captured a slave each among them was the girl bina whom our love bounded with the skills only a Trevan slave has, Sir Mord bended down over the Slaver as he laid bound on the ground whispered only a few words to him that would make him understand whom had sent him.
After a long journey our men and slave arrived at Tancred's landing with their captives, the Lady whom had hired Sir Mord and his men came to them at the dock and lead them to the City's cells where the quiet Northern man and the very angry and loud bond were thrown in, the Lady paid Sir Mord the last of his payment and as the Men of Minus turned to leave the Slaver asked Sir Mord "surely you would not keep the one you wanted to buy back in Ironhall", now what Man would Not laugh of that question just as Sir Mord did and informed the man he was not kidding when he had said he wanted a bond on his chain, again Sir Mord turned to the door kindly saying to the Lady she at anytime could contact the Mercs of Port Victoria.

The lovely talented Lady Red, head lecturer and owner of the Gorean Training Academy, wishes everyone to know she is now the proud owner of the blond-haired slave girl nettle, who was given as a generous gift from the Ubara. Lady Red, having decided one slave girl wasn’t enough, has also collared the brown-haired girl known as nancy.

A new magistrate was appointed this week. The man is new to our city, however, has been around Gor. He was appointed due to the break Sir Variance is taking these days. Sir Sigiher is now already in the workings of upholding our laws, and is starting to collect the fines, so be aware that your name may be on that list if you haven’t completed and turned in your slave papers.

Trevian Idols Rarius Contest Invitation
The Concept:
In order to help and establish a more cohesive team environment among the rarius, and to increase the Over all fun in the City of Treve/Village of Minus, The Paga Den is sponsoring a Major event in our are. We are calling it... Trevian Idols.
The Object is this, teams of 3 Warriors will have to compete in Tests, once a week. This event must be RPed out and Notecarded. Once it is passed in, a panel of Judges will score it, out of 10, based on the success of the event, the Time it takes to complete the assignment, and the over all RP involved. Those Scores will be added up and the lowest score (or Scores, based on Numbers of Participating) for each week will be eliminated.
After all other teams have been eliminated, and one team is remaining, the three Members of that willing team will be awarded a Prize.
The Teams:
The Teams will be made up of 3 members of either the Trevian Mercenaries or the Trevian Scarlett Caste. I short any who will be a Raider or Defender of this City/Region. These teams must consist of different combatants. One time substitutions will be permitted, based upon Team Member availability (meaning is someone is having ISP issues, is ill, or has a RL commitment that will prevent them from competing ), provided the judges have been made aware, however any further substitution will result in disqualification.
The Challenges:
Each week a challenge will be issued. they will vary in scope and difficulty. some will be tests of your Combat skills, and others will require your RP abilities to shine. Every team member must survive the Contest uncaptured (if they GET Captured, they must be saved for the outcome to count). Some might require the assistance of of FW or slaves. How you convince them to help will be integral to your RP score.
Due to the nature of the event, some challenges my need to have time restraints. Arrangement will be made to compensate for time zones, and ample time will be issued to assemble your team. however readiness will also factor in the Combat aspect of the Challenge.
The Judging:
Judging will he done by 4 Individuals,

Victor Warilard, Red Caste Commander
Wanita Slade, Innkeeper of Minus
Heaven Demina
They will individually score the Contest result and judge t based on the time used, (remember to QUICK might be as bad as too long) the RP used, and the success or failure of the mission. As some events may favour one aspect over another, the judging will reflect that change. ( a Tarn race, will require more Time related emphasis and less RP).
The Prize:
As i stands right now. each member if the winning team will receive a full weapon set from Primus Weapons, Consisting of a Bow, a Sword and a Spear.

How does lina say goodbye?

Right, so lina had been sold.. at last! some poor peasant decided they didnt have enough headaches. The ponytailed or for some known as absolutely crazy girl was sold for 5 silver, not her dream goal of 30 gold for sure! But she was sure.. one day she would be worth that much. So lina now was faced to do the hardest thing, saying goodbye to all her sisters..... What?! as if!! lina spent most of her time in the kennels telling off and beating those girls up mainly for no reason whatsoever. So how does lina say goodbye?.. She grinned as she looked at the ugly kennel.. Once she had to sleep here, today however, she was personally owned.. Okay so it wasnt the best deal, she is still owned by a poor Peasant and had no clue her sleeping place would be just as inglamorous but for now lina had a reason, a genuine one to go about teasing the girls.
So how did lina say goobye!? she went around teasing the girls showing off her new collar, telling them how she was sold for so much and they still had to be kennel slaves.. She was heard calling a few "Hello simple kennel slaves" while she strutted around with her new silks, which wasnt too glamorous but for girls in the kennel a change was always welcome. She had a catfight with a few, totally not her fault! Then threatened one with her new Mistress, who to lina's bad luck, couldnt care less about slave issues. Ofcourse, lina would tell the poor kennel slaves otherwise. So the day almost finished, lina feeling oh so good about herself, she made her way up to the kennel to pack her stuff. Well she didnt have much left. Mahi already said she aint buying lina any new make up.. She sighed to herself and looked around.. Could she? would she?.. well ofcourse she would.. She went around stealing a few make ups from here and there, only stuff she liked.. and grabbed two perfumes from the girls.. and then just to stir up the pot she placed one of the make ups that belonged to one of the girls in another girl kennel.. With that lina said goodbye and left the kennels..

Mars and Saturn and Neptune, and, I think, the Sun all got together and at first they were just talking about how the moon was always hanging out in the seventh house, and about, like what he was always doing over there, especially very very late at night, and then Neptune was like: "You know who I hate more then the moon? Virgos." "Oh my God! Me too!," blurted out Saturn, "They really bother me, what with all that organization and sensitivity." Then the Sun had a downright evil idea, he had to stifle a menacing laugh as he asked the planets " Why don't we arrange ourselves in such a way that this week will be really awful for them." And they did. And thus this week will surely suck balls.
