The men of Vosk Valley Port ran for their sanity and lives yesterday diving into the tavern for safety!
Slaves were seen covering their mouths in shock, laughter or outrage as the small band of victors eyes, over dainty veils, routed men out of the port central square with the war cries of  "now he would make a good   companion! " and "You need to discuss bride price on your daughters" and other similar terrors such as fashion, feasts and hours long ceremonies.

Hearing those terrible war cries, even ease dropping bystanders fled to the tavern doors ..a rumor that permanent sleeping bunks will be placed in the tavern there for future use might be true...
The battle victors were Lady BratCatz Lyon, Lady Adoveea Rau, Lady Catronia, Lady Calypso Scribe who merely flicked their gloved fingers after the routed men and turned the discussion to other matters.
The warriors, Reno Beattie, Raggsguy Escape, Victor Lufrey were healed by copious amounts of paga and their eyes and ears soothed by the sight of dancing  slaves.

There is a reason behind Ven going on his 'hunting' trips and shuffling furniture around the new warrior hall.  Although, it is usually his daughters that flee when he starts commenting on companionship price and potential suitors.
