Seems as though there's another BC with a mark on his forehead haunting Minus...        (I edited out a LOT of chatter lol)

[17:35] Daved CalderwoodDaved Calderwood sits down heavilly as he looks around the tavern ....

[17:36] Ashaka Svenson: nods to his Brother thinking perhaps a good choice of table after all and grins

[17:36] Isabella BergiereIsabella Bergiere takes the drink gently, "thank you, an excellent serve"

[17:36] Katia GandtKatia Gandt lowers her eyes as the killer enters the room.... "Oh no!" she whispers

[17:36] Malcomb DanitzMalcomb Danitz places a calming hand over hers, silencing her.

[17:37] Daved CalderwoodDaved Calderwood takes a scroll from his belt and reads it quietly not really concerned about the other armed men in the room . He had more pressing concerns at the moment ...

[17:38] Rainey483 Adamczyk: my Master may I serve you

[17:38] Ashaka Svenson: ruffles her hair and says mmm blackwine 1st slave

[17:38] Isabella Bergiere shifts uncomfortably in her seat as she hears katia's whisper; shooting a quick glance over her shoulder she pales and trembles as she notices the man in black. Replacing her cup onto the table with a shaking hand before she spills the blackwine she turns to the others with a scared look.

[17:38] Rainey483 Adamczyk: yes My Master right away

[17:39] Katia GandtKatia Gandt moving her eyes to Bella's .. she smiles.. attempting to calm her

[17:40] Daved CalderwoodDaved Calderwood rolls the scroll up and places it back on his belt . stretching just a bit as he observes the people inthe taven and then at the approaching Girl ...

[17:40] Malcomb DanitzMalcomb Danitz tries to make a calming gesture to Bella "he bears no mark lady, you need not fear him."

[17:41] Katia GandtKatia Gandt relieved to hear his words..

[17:41] Isabella Bergiere smiles hesitantly at their words, feeling reassured but wishing the man would drink elsewhere.

[17:41] Katia GandtKatia Gandt raises the glass again. lifting her veil.. sipping the wine

[17:42] Malcomb DanitzMalcomb Danitz slurps his mead, remembering the silent dance of the afternoon, and almost smile as it came to nothing.

[17:42] Katia Gandt: Across the room at the opposite table... she sees a man who stood by her at the trial, not recognizing the lady ..

[17:43] Isabella Bergiere shakes her hands to release the nervous tension and lifts her cup again, letting the warmth soothe her and inhaling the wonderful aroma. Turning to Ash she asks, "We were discussing the trial Sir, do you happen to know what happened to the banker, Victor?"

[17:44] Daved CalderwoodDaved Calderwood stretches his arms . not relishing the idea of taking the boat so soon back ....really he would rather walk than suffer the constant motion of the boat ...he thought to himself disgustedly as probably the only killer in the history of the Black caste that ever got seasick ...

[17:44] Malcomb DanitzMalcomb Danitz again shakes his head "I was quite peroccupied with my own job at the event. I paid no attention to such trivia as the trial itself. So i dont know why all were freed, or what this may mean for future investigation."

[17:46] Daved CalderwoodDaved Calderwood points to the girl (tresure) and says "come here "

[17:46] Isabella BergiereIsabella Bergiere prods Ashaka with her spoon as he seems to be in a little trance

[17:47] Katia Gandt: brb
[17:47] Ashaka Svenson: nope Im here Bella
[17:47] Isabella BergiereIsabella Bergiere grins

[17:47] Daved CalderwoodDaved Calderwood looks at the girl and says "I want tea ...in a cup , no cream and no sugar please"

[17:48] Ashaka Svenson: dark eyes watxh his girl carefully as she prapres his drink

[17:49] Daved CalderwoodDaved Calderwood watches the girl intently as she prepares the tea ...

[17:49] Malcomb DanitzMalcomb Danitz finishes his mead, and places the horn oj the table."I must soon be going back home."

[17:49] Ashaka Svenson: takes te cup and just sets it on the table

[17:50] Isabella BergiereIsabella Bergiere lifts her veil delicately and takes a sip of her drink

[17:50] Malcomb Danitz: So, my Katia, will you stay in Minus?

[17:51] Daved CalderwoodDaved Calderwood looks at the lady in blue and thinks of the scroll he read . He had hoped that he would at least get a cup of tea before he had to act ....He looks back at the girl now wishing she already had his tea ...

[17:51] Katia Gandt: No, Mal.. I'll go home with you ...

[17:51] Ashaka Svenson: dark eyes look at his girl dissapointed

[17:52] Malcomb DanitzMalcomb Danitz smiles cross the table, "Bella, do you need escort?"

[17:52] Katia GandtKatia Gandt placing the goblet down on the table..

[17:52] Isabella BergiereIsabella Bergiere nods, "Yes thank you"

[17:52] Katia Gandt: I wish you well, Ash..

[17:53] Isabella Bergiere: farewell ash

[17:53] Malcomb Danitz: i wish you all well.

[17:53] Daved CalderwoodDaved Calderwood reaches in his belt pocket and smudges his fingers on the black powder , rubbing his finger on his forehead , he traces the mark from well used memory ....

Well played Daved  Cheesy

I was suitably terrified - even though I believe I am a decoy;  well that's what I keep telling myself....        *goes into hiding*

I had fun there although I really hope the physicians develop something like alka seltzer. Those boat trips are hell on me. Sad

Daved,

I do wonder about the scroll as I always thought that assassins did not have anything writeen down as was a  verbal contract only?

Unless this is to throw people off of course as if you were killed if anybody was fast enough and searched you and found the scroll it could give them information.

But I do not know what your plan or motive is or indeed what the scrool is it might even be blank who knows but could roll play I can just see you being sick over the side of a boat lol

Hail Treve

The scroll I was reading wasn't a contract , it was just a message to go to a camp to spar a bit. Just was coincidence that I put the mark on becuase after Minus I had to going to ANOTHER city to deal with a "mark".

Yes, I think he was just glancing at the scribe as he was reading a scroll - unrelated to the actual contract which is for some other poor sod.   ((optimistic as ever!))

Someone has said that the BC has to wear the mark from the time of contract but I read Assasin of Gor last week and didn't Tarl take it on and off, to go to the races and such?  Or is he not a true BC as it was a disguise...

There was also a debate as to whether or not BC can be contracted to kill FW - the consensus was yes.  ((boo!))

And to think Daved - that I remarked in an IM just before your emote that I felt bad for BC's because it was hard to RP with them realistically as most people should be too scared to interact - I don't feel sorry anymore  Tongue
My plan was was that because Geary was murdered right in front of us, my reaction would have been more fearful than usual.
