Well, I've only read about half of the books, but I don't remember it being mentioned at all.  Personally, I don't see why it couldn't happen....

In the book Slave Girl of Gor there is an earth girl Elicia Nevins who becomes Lady Elicia of Ar. I don't remember how she got into that position, but it is during her subsequent enslavement that it comes out that earth girls are considered the legal prey of all Gorean men. Thus if she is lucky enough to become free, she better hide, very well, that she is from earth. Hope that helps ... smiles.

“You understand further, of course,” said he, “that under Gorean merchant law, which is the only law commonly acknowledged binding between cities, that you stand under separate permissions of enslavement. First, were you of Ar, it would be my right, could I be successful, to make of you a slave, for we share no Home Stone. Secondly, though you speak of yourself as the Lady Elicia of Ar, of Six Towers, you are, in actuality, Miss Elicia Nevins of the planet Earth. You are an Earth girl and thus stand within a general permission of enslavement, fair beauty quarry to any Gorean male whatsoever.”

Each time a woman of Earth was brought here it was for a specific purpose, either by the Priest-Kings or by the Kurii.  Usually they were made slaves after their job was done.  In the case of Elizabeth, who was sent as a messenger to the Wagon People, Tarl fell in love with her and freed her, but she was enslaved again in the end.   The tatrix was a lookalike, brought to fool the people of Torcadino, I believe.

Virginia, an earth girl brought on a ship,  and slave of the House of Cernus,  becomes a Free Woman at the end of Assassin of Gor.

He removed from her throat the slave collar.
"No!" she said.  "Please, no!" She looked at him, suddenly afraid. "No!" she cried "Keep me, Keep me!"
"Would you consent" asked Relius, "to be the companion of a Warrior?"
"Companion?" she asked
Relius nodded his head.  He held her very gently.  She looked at him unable to comprehend his words.
"It is the hope of Relius" said he, " that the Free Woman Virginia, might care for a simple Warrior, one who much loves her, and accept him as her companion"
She could not speak.  There were tears bright in her eyes. She began to cry to laugh.
"Drink with me the cup of Free Companionship" said Relius rather sternly
"Yes Master" said Virginia "yes!"
"Relius", said he.
"I love you!" she cried "I love you Relius!"

So from what I've gathered, the only time an Earth women was to become a Free Women was when her Master had taken her out of slavery to be his companion.

What if her companion dies, then what would happen to her?
Would she then be put back into slavery and sold?
Or could she run and hide?

Once you are freed and your companion dies you remain free.
