I respect Carter and Victor a lot. They both work so hard for raids and battles. They work both IC and OOC on their Warriors who are trained up quite well so its no wonder they fight so good. Its so easy to point fingers and blame someone or a community but so much more mature to discuss it and try to work it out especially when the other side tried to.

Why dont we all agree that we are all human, all make mistakes.. and just let go of it all. No instead, lets just pull out stop the fun rp that everyone was having in relation to war cuz we cant do that............. thats what all this says to me, I'm sorry it ended that way.. sucks.

Just to clarify, I am not saying either side is 100% right or wrong... mistakes are made by all. What I am saying is that we need to act as adults when dealing with them and remember there is three parts to a story: His side, Her side, and somewhere in the middle is the truth. People perceive things differently based on where you live, how you were raised, influences in your life... something that may not offend me could offend the guy next to me, accepting and understanding another persons point of view even if you do not agree with it is the first step to getting past conflict.

I agree Cullin.

I apologize for the initial post of this thread sounding so final.  It was not my intention to make it sound as if no one from Treve would be allowed to come to Tyr's Fist to RP.  Simply put, we are no longer going to engage in meter combat with raiding parties from Treve.  All it has served to do is raise people's blood pressure.

Never thought I would see someone else have the same view on certain matters " this is so always the truth and most of the time yes the truth is found in the middle.

I'm only making a point here.... so please dont take offense because none is intended

Now how would you feel if it wasnt accepted plus you get told that this is just an excuse and that none of us have any wish to rp with you even after you made an apology and an effort to work it out with any of us here and were a big man enough to apologize (whoever the apology was to, just example here not suggesting it was for certain people.. just imagine whoever it was to, turned around and said just what I'm discussing here)... just wondering here Rayzor cuz for one moment I'd like you to think how Carter/Treve Mods here felt with their apology basically being thrown back in their faces while telling them off too for trying to do something constructive and work it out with everyone.. what a slap in the face that would feel. Anyone get my drift here? Someone apologized.. Allow him to do so dont step on them and then tell them off for mistakes that was apologized for.. and then decide to stop something so many were enjoying cuz you couldnt handle this matter properly OOC. Your BP raised probably since the attacks and posting of such kind started on this forum.. as far as Treve or we were aware, we had not one single issue.. we were having fun..... ya know  Cry

And you let this get to you guys, it never had to go that way..  Angry my opinion.. I will always keep my high thoughts of Tyrs Fist as the rp was amazing there. Too bad it had to go that way. The Southern Northern war was such a cool idea.. It was meant to be fun rp for us all... not just the raiders.

I guess, Rayzor.. I have to say your initial post regarding this matter shocked me when you mocked the letter Carter sent in such a manner. Yet no one could answer me as of yet where is the passive aggressive in that letter.. It was a nice letter meant to bring peace and people turned it around... sad. I would hope its never done to you that should you ever send a sincere apology people will mock you or feel any "hot air" blowing up their asses.... well guess it's good for you tho.. haha.. the North being all frozen and such  Grin j/k ofcourse!

well its a shame really , i enjoyed the north -south saga and wished people could just have fun instead of getting so stressed , nobody likes to loose and everybody wants it done their way , but you need to find a happy medium and remember its a game ....well thats what i keep getting told when i stress  Grin

How incredibly, and yet rationally and justifiably, I felt at his mercy. He was my master. He owned me. He could do whatever he wanted with me. He could trade me or sell me, or even slay me upon a whim, should he wish. I was absolutely his, his girl.

I was not mocking Carter with the initial post to this thread.  If anything, I was emulating Bane's letter of withdrawal in the nicest way I could.  I even submitted that post for approval to Ais before posting it.

I would hope its never done to you that should you ever send a sincere apology people will mock you.....

And you didn't just do that here?

Right, let's put an end to this now. We are going round and round in circles.

Note to forum admin: Can we lock this thread now please? Thanks.

bond-maid ... always of Tyr's Fist

« 06. September 2010, 20:42:40 »
There is no need to lock up a forum post like keeping the cookie jar away from the baby.  We are all adults ... now we just have to behave like them.

Everyone has an opinion.  Things get heated.  People say things they don't mean or even voice things they mean but honestly, just should keep to themselves.

This is ... role-play ... everyone go enroll in a yoga class or better yet, come to the hall for some mead.  That and the warmth of a bond-maid makes everything better.

Trust me.  <3
