During the raid on Treve last night...    there was a little RP tangent that occured between Bella and a new arrival to Treve...   was not planned 

We were all taken down - all of us, city and Minus - by 7 men!!    Bella was in a bubble...



[15:55] Shikhandi PantharShikhandi Panthar takes a rope from his belt and ties the Ladies hands to drag her to safety.
[15:55] Shikhandi Panthar: He makes a knot on her waist and pulls away.

((in the sewers))

[16:06] Shikhandi PantharShikhandi Panthar turns around and sees the Lady all dusty and bound, leashed to him... "Now are you my slave, Lady Bella?" says he with a devilish grin...

[16:07] Isabella BergiereIsabella Bergiere gives him a haughty look, "You know you can untie me now!"

[16:08] Shikhandi PantharShikhandi Panthar laughs: "And you know I could simply not do that, don't you, beautiful Lady?"

[16:09] Isabella BergiereIsabella Bergiere stamps her foot, "Please stop this foolishness and release me! You have no right to keep me bound"

[16:10] Shikhandi PantharShikhandi Panthar grins: "In this situation, there is no such thing as right. I could perfectly keep you here, rape you and collar you. I hope you realise that..."

You are lucky I am in an excellent mood. I think I will no go back to the boats, and try to avoid these shores from now on!"

[16:40] Shikhandi PantharShikhandi Panthar adds : "Now that these raider sleens have taken my sword and bow, I am perfectly vulnerable. I do not know if I will survive the next attack from pirates... I will then bid you farewell."

[16:41] Isabella BergiereIsabella Bergiere stands silently, shame and anger at being bound and insulted by Trevan men twice in as many days washes over her and the horror of the rumours surrounding her cousin's assassination rendering her mute.

[16:41] Contessa Lannock: "Aye it is and of course I do feel safer now when you are around. That is all us Ladys wanted, is to make sure you would not harm us. We mean no ill feelings Sir"

[16:44] Contessa LannockContessa Lannock taking a deep breath "Well Sir you have to understand. We only knew of your name nothing more." turning to look at Bella and her distress "See here Bella has had a horrifing day. Perhaps it was just bad call on both that your joke was taken out of context"

[16:46] Shikhandi PantharShikhandi Panthar looks at the Lady Bella sternly. "I have no idea what you are talking about and what context that might be. Once more, I beg forgiveness from you, Lady, for my ill doings..."

[16:48] Isabella BergiereIsabella Bergiere finaly snaps as she hears Shik's words, her calm demeanour blown as she unleashes a torrent of words, "Threatening to collare and rape a free woman of your own homestone in the middle of a raid? That is your idea of a joke?"

[16:50] Shikhandi PantharShikhandi Panthar makes an angry gesture of the hand. "I will say no more. Farewell, sweet ladies. May the Priest Kings bring bliss on your paths", and he prepares to walk away.

Soooo...    OOC we all decided to run with the RP  -  although I have to say I was particularly reluctant OOC to make it public, mostly because I could see it leading to another fight  *shrugs*

[17:10]  Contessa Lannock: /me looks around the city hearing new voices notices the Lady Katia and it appearing to her Companion the First Sword, nudges Bella "Lets go speak with the First sword and inform him of what is going on"

[17:11]  Isabella Bergiere: /me follows Tessa reluctanctly, not really wanting to cause any more trouble

[17:11]  Malcomb Danitz: /me hears some references to himself and tries to look, but cant. he already feels the blood on his back again.

[17:12]  Malcomb Danitz: Ahh Bella, Vistor, Pay, i didnot see you all. excusee me"

[17:12]  Contessa Lannock: /me looks around seeing the Warrior she desparately needs to speak with "Tal Free" she says quickly then turning directly to Malcomb "SIr I need to speak with you about a little matter I witnessed"

[17:13]  Isabella Bergiere: /me slinks into a seat silently with a soft "Tal", trying to blend into the background. She looks up at Tessas words and mutters, "Really it's ok it's over now"

[17:14]  Malcomb Danitz: /me takes the platter and begins eating with a fury. He hasnt eaten yet, and he believes the mat will fortify him well, with fingers and gusto he starts in on the suls and the meat, looking up to Tess to hear her speak. "What is it then?"

[17:15]  Contessa Lannock: /me looks around then back to Mal, whispering "I am not sure this is the proper place to discuss this Sir"

[17:17]  Katia Gandt: /me looking up to the lady . "Tessa, Mal has been seriously injured... I do hope this matter is very important "

[17:18]  Contessa Lannock: /me nods looking over to Katia "It is very important. I promise you this"

[17:18]  Malcomb Danitz: /me takes a moment from gorgin himself to look back to the nervous Bella, and up to Tessa. "out with it woman, before i am too drunk to understand it."




[17:21]  Contessa Lannock: /me sighs out with a deep breath "Well if you insist, Tonight on my way coming from the sewers I was rounding a corner and overheard a warrior and the Lady Bella conversing." begins to talking a lil lower moving in closer to Malcomb making sure he can hear her well "I overheard the Lady Bella tell the man to remove her binds and then the Warrior threaten to collar and rape her in a serious tone. I then proceeded to walk around and make myself known and also offered my dagger to him and he still was very hesitate even in my presence"

[17:22]  Victor Warilard: "Was it one of my men?" he asked, concerned that a warrior might have jumped the gun. ":If so, do you know who?"

[17:22]  Isabella Bergiere: /me puts her head in her hands as the story is told


[17:22]  Contessa Lannock: /me shakes her head in disgust "He even addresed her to me as his 'new slave'. I was appauled by this mans words he then tried to play it off but what I heard was not joking tone I tell you Sir, it was NO joke"

[17:23]  Malcomb Danitz: /me stands with surprising speed. and rounds on Tessa, a fury borne of frustration of the battle, and now an affront upon a lady ot his homestone, he hurls the tray to the stones, it crashes to pieces. Standing towering over Tessa he then turns to tower over Bella. Trails of blood stream down is back again as he confronts her "Is this true?" his fists clench and unclench as he awaits her answer.

[17:24]  Payton999 Robonaught: /me blinked and followed between the Captain and the ladies for a moment and then leaned towards Victor with a very faint whisper, "Shouldn't this be a matter of law?", she asked purely out of her own curiousity and then settled back on her cushion, taking another drink from her cup.

It wasnt untill we both warned him of ringing the bell that he the offered his name and he was citizen of the city"

[17:46]  Malcomb Danitz: /me shakes his head, knowing that in the dark sewers she was lucky to have escaped, and his own Katia is just a likely to have been the target. his anger grows as he thinks it, and he masters his rage with a visible effort.

[01:46]  Hiro Soothsayer: /me glanced back at the sound of Shikhandi's boots behind him, more from habit than alarm. His quick and practiced gaze, sized the man up in a few ehn. Though his dress was common, he had the confident bearing of a man well-acquainted with the steel at his side. He nodded a greeting and turned back to Isabella.

[01:46]  Shikhandi Panthar: /me leaned forward a bit more and cried: "Well isn't this the fair Lady with a collar on her throat! Tal to you! And to you too, warrior!" and he lifted his right arm, palm inward, in salute.

[01:48]  Isabella Bergiere: /me clenches her fist in rage as she notices Shik step over, as she hears his mocking words she rudely hisses, "Be quiet you sleen, your jests have gone on long enough"

[01:49]  Isabella Bergiere: /me then remarks idly to Shik, "Captain Malcolmb is looking for you I believe", she gives him a smug look

[01:49]  Shikhandi Panthar: /me bursts into laughter: "I like a strong headed slave, Lady!" and he took a deep bow pretending to be respectful.

[01:49]  Hiro Soothsayer: /me seemed much relieved with Isabella's latest words. "As an apprentice perhaps, you might be less likely to spin my head with your words". He glanced back and forth between the two. Never opposed to the idea of seeing any woman in a collar, he seeming content to let them sort their differences.

[01:50]  Shikhandi Panthar: /me "I would be glad to meet the man. I hope you will introduce us!" he informed with a smile.

[01:54]  Shikhandi Panthar: /me turned to the contemptuous woman arching his eybrows innocently:"Insults you say? Who insulted you, fair Lady? I will be the first to draw my sword and slay the tarsk who dares insult such high Lady as yourself!"

[01:55]  Hiro Soothsayer: /me glanced to Shik with a sly smile before saying. "Indeed, as do we all Lady. And if an insult is done, I am sure you can count on both myself and this good fellow here, to come to the rescue of your honour"

[02:00]  Isabella Bergiere: /me splutters with indignation, "Your memory is as poor as your manners Shikhandi! If I am not mistaken you yourself bound me, teased me, called me a slave and dared to lay your hand on me!" she tosses her head arrogantly, "Lady Tessa informed the Captain of your actions and I am sure he will teach you how to proprly respect a free woman", her words were bold and provoking solely beccause of the confidence the precense of a red caste gave her

[02:05]  Shikhandi Panthar: /me replied with a casual manner: "Lady, let me refresh your memory, which seems as week as mine... Had I not been there to recue you, you would probably be, even now, in some kennel or pit in a foreign land, surrounded by outaws, and they would probably fancy to hud you and mate you with some captured kajiri. Being here, in this fair city, in your heavy robes, pleasantly seaking with warriors who are ready to defend you is a priviledge you owe me!"

I suspected that there was a reasonable explanation. He does seem like a decent sort of chap. He was merely reminding you that your hosehold owes him for the service, I think the standard reward for such things is the price you would fetch on the block." he coughed "Not that the block is a fitting place for a woman of your quality" he added unconvincingly.

I hear the warriors of the city want to take away my life... Don't you find this odd? I do wonder why... " and he turned to the red Lady: "I am sure you have an idea!"

Well, I am sure you would not be too discontented if that were to happen, Lady Bella... But Lady Snapper would also loose a recruit... Difficult situation." he sighted.

[15:42]  Isabella Bergiere: /me frowns, "They didn't speak of taking your life in the end. More teaching you some manners. You do appear contrite to me now and although I will never, ever trust you again; I may consider intervening if the situation gets out of hand"

[15:46]  Shikhandi Panthar: /me smiles: "Oh I sure could use a good lesson of manners by the reds you called uncivilized a moment ago... And I give you much thanks. I am happy to have you as my protector, Lady Bella. An amusing turn in the situation indeed!" He paused of an Ihn: "Oh fear not, I will trust you likewise. Next time I see a sleen running after you, I shall have another business to tend to!"

[15:49]  Isabella Bergiere: /me smiles to the girls gently as she listens to Shiks words. She murmers very softly and cryptically, "Better eaten by a sleen than trapped in the sewers with one"

[15:53]  Shikhandi Panthar: /me laught hard at the Lady's reply: "See, there is one thing. I don't trust you but I simply love your sense of humor! I will thank the Priest Kings tonight in my prayers for having made you come into this word... And I will thank them again when they take you away", and he slapped his thigh.

The following is long, even though i heavily edited it to remove most of teh non-related text.  I want to be clear that this was a fine little RP. Shik was a real trooper a bout it, we kept the OOC dialog going so there would be no risk od this turning to some stupid drama,  I congratulate Shik on geting into a good RP right off!  Poor Bella was very concerned about being seen as a troublemaker agan, but i want to be clear tat this was just good clean fun.

Scene:  end of rani's dance and sale - courtyard of Treve.
