After posting perceptions, now lets get to the other concepts, what MAKES people see your avatar the way you hope they will see you.

Start with Physical movements: Your AO. Customize it, don't keep the standard one, learn to really customize your ao. Dove has a majority of the movements for her as folded arms gestures, that's very deliberate on my part. See my avatar picture? Compare that to other free woman who gently sway a bit with easy flluid movements of arms and stands.

How you dress;major point right there, how you make that visual impression is everything in second life.  Ivar, a long term friend of mine is a torvie, every time someone mets him, it's a gasp and ..omg, he's huge..men and women alike say this. His avatar is clothed in heavy furs and colors of cream brown leather, and gold which is broad and wide in the construction which gives more visual illusions of height and width, he's got a huge body frame, long blonde braided hair and an axe strapped that looks proportional to him but is about the size of my avatar.

Text Speech, Now the core of how folks see you! What action descriptive verbs do you use in descriptions? do you smile? do you laugh? do you pinch your nose and say sourly "I think that's not right" or do you spend most of your time with the occasional grunt.

AO wise - I removed the silly twirling and the arms above my head.   Kept the more modest shifting about but its all pretty subtle.  I emote fidgiting, moving from one foot to the other, playing with my hair etc.   Bella will definitely use her femininity to her advantage.

How she dresses - very richly and with numerous expensive gowns.   I made bella a tiny and delicate AV deliberately as it contrasts with the stubbornness and outspoken personality.

Text speech - easily smiles, teases, jokes and banters with those she deigns worth it.  A talkative character.  
Frowns, wrinkles her nose and sometimes downright glares at people she doesn't like.  
Rarely cruel as she doesn't think it's worth the effort.

AO-before it was the standard OC ao with the static poses that were all demure and still. I changed it so i move about some but still they are subtle movements and not static, i rock back and forth and move about a bit but not overly so. caethes is still a bit quiet til she gets to know you and the ao helps depict that.

DRESS-I'm a bond I dress slutty yet sexy and what i wear depends on my mood. some are more feminine than others, and some I wear because I know who likes them and it fits the mood, the weather also has an affect on what I wear.

Speech- i'm usually happy go lucky, ready to pitch in..try not to argue with the free but don't always succeed in that part*smirks* I smile more than i smirk but at times i do glare at certain people...and yes i do the nose wrinkling and eye lash batting but usually only when i'm trying to look innocent and failing or wanting something. I guess i'm pretty predictable for the most part but at times I do go off. The one thing that will get me in trouble more than anything and I tend to rp it as well is that i am curious. Something strikes my fancy and i want to know about it I will ask and not really care if I get in trouble, most of the time they think nothing of it and tell me, I mean i am just a slave what harm is there in telling lil ole me? *grins*

AO:  I've been tweaking mine lately.  I have 2...one I use all the time, and then there's my drunk AO which is hilarious.  Anyway, my main AO has a lot of standing and shifting poses, some with crossed arms, others with fists resting on the hips.  I recently added an animation that makes it look like I'm stroking my beard, as I often emote anyway.

How I dress:  Almost always in tunics or leathers, and very seldom showing any skin.  Its cold up north!  *brrrr*  I tend to keep to muted or neutral colors, but I'll occasionally wear a purple tunic.  Beard is long and braided.  Hair is about the same length as the beard, but without braids.  The color of both, even though not from the same maker, are very closely matched.  In the winter, I'm often seen wearing a heavy fur cloak.  I tend to favor realistic weaponry and stay away from things too inspired by fantasy.  I've always tried to keep the size of my avatar somewhat realistic.....Very tall, but not a giant, and not too broad.  As for the impression I try to make with all of this.....I want to be perceived as a strong and steady Torvaldslander that might have been seen in the books, but not necessarily someone who took center stage for being outlandishly large, like Rolo, or overly athletic, like Forkbeard.

Speech:  As I stated above, I do a lot of beard stroking and scratching as I am deep in thought.  I arch my eyebrow when curious or amuzed and furrow them together when angered or irritated.  My voice has a bellowing tone to it, never able to truly whisper as even when speaking softly, it carries too well.  My manners are lacking by southern standards.  I belch, fart, adjust my crotch in public, and wipe my mouth on the back of my hand or sleeve.   I love to laugh and I am normally very easygoing, but that can change in the span of a heartbeat.  I alternate between being jovial, grumpy, or downright angry, and nothing boils my blood as much as disrespect.

Snapper , her AO is one of a lot of movements ( some I want to stop the typing AO for one when not emoteing uggh and tried to remove it and the whole thing messed up had to get a replacement thank goodness the replacements are free)
she is easy to laugh and will do and say things to get others to laugh as well
she takes pride in her station and her Caste, her dress's are never shabby even though she doesn't care a hill of beans if the men look at her or not nor
does she care what others think of her. Most of the time she will come straight out with whats on her mind.
she is snickie about some things and no one would ever suspect her , well at least she thinks so
when I created her to be in gor LITTLE did I know that over half the women of gor have some color of red hair " UggH !!!!!
her shape and skin and eyes are special to her. her shape was made just for her by a dear friend he put a lot of hours into that shape
she smiles a lot even when she is about to tell someone off she will smile at them, its according as to the situation as to what her body movements are
she doesnt play off her female atributes.

AO: Crossed arms... casually walk with his hands in his pockets, really not caring much. Chin slightly lifted and chest held high to denote his arrogance.

Dress: Dark colors... Red/Black. I kept the Trevan uniform layout tho. I just retextured it all to make it seem a bit darker and more threatening. A useful necklace with a dagger on around my neck -which alot of people don't bother stripping me off when taken down in raids, so it serves as a useful second weapon to both unbind myself and stab my enemies in the back with. I also made a point of it to have a scar on my eye and a slightly darker eyecolor in the damaged eye, it makes him look as if he's not completely sane.

Speech: I "frown" and "stare unimpressed" alot, cause he really doesn't think very highly of others very often or sees folly easily in other people's choices. Then on the other hand he rarely does it towards those who are of the High Caste. I also use "..." alot to denounce I'm trying to find an euphemistic or ironic way of expressing a word. At occassion Anarch will smile lightly, and that often is a sign he is up to no good.

Koh has always been a man that was very sure of himself.

AO - Koh's arms tend to fold before him as if showing his authority. Sometimes you might even find him rubbing his chin. A sign that he is deep in thought. His galt (walk for those not sure of the term) is that of a casual calm walk. Its as if he knows he has all the time in the world. It fits his persona very well. He does not shift on his feet. Nor does he pace back and forth. I personally have viewed such people who pace back and forth as impatient, eager or overly agressive.

DRESS - Koh is rarely seen in anything outside of his caste colors, which is Black. He often prefers to cover every inch of his skin save for his face. He wears his helm only when he intends to kill or is on a mission. Though lately, He has taken more from his old roots, the voltai and started to dress more utilizing a tunic with matching black sandals. Thus, showing off his manly legs some.

SPEECH - Koh has always been a man of few words. His silence often brought the conclusion by others that he was "grumpy." Truth be told, Koh is just very observant. Another aspect of his speech is that he likes to use short sentences. He's always been quick and to the point. His speech often has a touch of arrogance when he does have words to share. This is due to his many years as a killer. He knows he is one of the finest blades in Gor. But as Age has caught up with him, that arrogance gives way to some elderly wisdom. If Koh smiles or grins, be very afraid.

Another feature I will add about Koh is that his hair and eyes play a large part in his perception. The hair has always been worn long, no matter what style he has had it. His eyes are a peircing blue. Almost as if they can see through you. All of these features add up to a killer that many have come to both fear and respect.

AO: Tends to pace or look behind him a lot, its more to watch his own back than just being fidgety. He’s attitude is more not to be a stationary target and to be ready to act when the situation warrants it.

DRESS: Sloppy as all hell, yeah he is constantly sewing the rips in his shirts and pants. Everything he has on him serves some sort of function; much like a utility belt he has almost everything for self reliance. Very few times he actually goes dressy which is to say wearing pristine black gear. He’s a low caste and he knows it but that doesn’t mean he lacks the tools to get the job done. He wears disguises now and then just to get the guards off his back.

SPEECH: Varies a lot, sometimes he can talk your ears off and others he stays quiet preferring to just observe the situation. Has a sense of humor that sometimes comes out and has been known to chuckle now and then.

OVERALL DEMEANOR: My character uses deception in almost every aspect of his job. It is a valuable tool when the people around you think one thing when really it is another. He has incorporated deception in his speech, emotes, and the way he dresses. He prefers function over aesthetics and will only purchase what he needs, although he does like to eat cookies and often will buy them in the bakery.

AO: Very demure, almost shy, certainly unassumming.  She will sway back and forth gently with her arms behind her, looking up to whomever she is talking to like they are the only one in the world that matters at the moment.

DRESS:  Not fancy and not ragged.  She is comfortable in her clothing, even though it may show off her figure, she is not 'out there' flaunting her sexuality.  She has a few more formal outfits which she likes to wear at functions, or when traveling.  She normally wears her hair up with hatpins that can be removed by anyone on touch, making her shiny black hair fall straight to her waist.  She has large violet eyes that peek out underneath long black bangs.

SPEECH:  Formal, almost bordering on prissy.  She has been known to be argumentative, but never to the point where she shouts or screeches.  She has an incredible stubborn streak that shows itself from time to time, and thinks she knows just how far to push things without going over the edge.   She wants attention, then is horrified when she gets it.  She is playful, loves to tease, and somehow manages to get herself in trouble a lot, even when not actively looking for it.

AO - Fidgety, shuffles from one foot to another and brushes her hair out of her eyes to discreetly judge peoples worth and riches, or forwards to hide the Caste of Thieves brand on her right cheek.  Her head is usually tilted, or downwards, peeking sideways and avoiding eye contact with anyone other than those that have gained her loyalty if not trust.  This changes dramatically when on official Musician Caste business which is her greatest love and passion after coin.  She then walks and stands taller, head held high, makes direct eye contact with all moves very subtle, often closing her eyes and drifting into her own world as the audience fades away..

DRESS - Low caste, no veil.  Leans towards more romantic peasant celtic/medieval type dresses with ancient symbols and patterns and matching cloaks and capes.  Again in contrast when on Music caste business, will dress more opulent, but hint that she *found* it somewhere, rather than actually buy it hersef.   Does not own a pair of shoes and will wear old leather boots even under the most extravagant gown or disguise.  Always wears a small silver harp necklace around her neck, the only thing she treasures from her drunken, pirate sleen of a father. Usually has an instrument case on her back or in her hand when travelling out of her own city, and always a quill and paper in one of her multitudes of deep pockets. 

SPEECH - Informal.  Inquisitive.  Flirty with male visitors to gain infomation but its always implied rather than outright boldness, with an excuse how her words were misunderstood if questioned.  Exaggerates her own talents to be employed in various tasks and jobs.  Flattery and compliments drip off her tongue but are rarely genuine.  Never acts the spoilt, argumentative or over proud Freewoman or speaks out of turn preferring the attention to be on others, as you get hers fully while she strives to find out everything about you, ultimately for her own benefit. 

[Lilith Illyar]

AO - Tall, lanky with an unmistakably mane of fiery red hair that mostly appears has not seen a brush in some time.  Eyes that are almost translucent being so light gray as they are.  She is rarely still... and  is constantly watching everything around her; if you think she isn't listening or hasn't seen... she has.  Her social skills are unrefined, having spent most of her life in caves among those of a coarse nature.

Dress - It depends on what she is doing at the current time.  Her preferred clothing is that of black... because she's spent most of her life in the colour.  Being from the North she has no caste, but you may see her in any caste colour if she is working "undercover" to obtain information.  She once presented in a sim for a month as a green caste to obtain needed information for one of the Black Caste.

Speech - Again, it depends on the situation.  If she feels the need to talk, she will...  if not, she will ignore you.  But when speaking, expect her to be forthright in a rich Torvie brogue... rarely mincing words whether talking to an Ubar or a wood gatherer.  If you don't want to hear the truth, don't ask her a question.  She was born with a physical defect that prevents her from bending over and puckering at the same time to kiss anyone's arse.

General demeanor - Knows the limit of a free woman and will push those limits but never cross them.  Independent.  Fierce and merciless when protecting those she cares about, which is few.  Most think her heartless because of the acts  she will do to those that cross her... but secretly she has been known to protect the innocent against those that would persecute them.  She is not weak nor kind... neither attribute being one that earned her the nickname "Beast of Treve" long ago.

AO - Moves alot, from paces to outright crossing her arms and judging you, the walk is one of a strut more then a stride Mika likes to think she owns the City she walks through, however shes always moving not so much out of fidgeting but more just hyper a form of Gorean ADHD could definately be used to describe her.

Dress- If I am doing something I dont want to be known as a high caste for I can play that part quite well often enough it is the standard poofy dresses, veils, covered as much as possible, always elegant and even the lower items have a expensive look to them, Mika tends to pride her appearance hating any out of place attire, However unless its caste bussiness she avoids wearing green like the plague, Frog look never suited her!

Speech - Mika tends to appear very bored during general conversations, more often then not choosing to stay quiet if she isnt familiar with the people, if a topic is approached and is passionate on she can turn quite talkative, loving a good debate engaging conversations keeps her intrested otherwise wandering off happens often.

Overall demanor - Normally while quiet in most cases she portrays an aura of confidence and stoic control, within City walls will rarely speak out against anyone but will often joke and jest, however within the walls of her infirmary she has been known to cut people down with sharp comments and a general bossy arguementive... put it frankly.. bitch nature... She demands respect within those walls but also isnt shy in giving that respect back if its given.

Her temper is something to watch for, downright evil in getting those back that harm her, but always sticking to those caste guidelines

AO- I handpicked my ani's and made a custom AO which reflects Aine in Gor. Being southern born and bred she's a bit of vain slut. Her AO depicts this, in her hair fluffing and preening movements. She is also taller then most, which in rp is used to her advantage and the AO takes advantage of that making her appear a bit bold and above other bonds. She definately looks over her nails alot which is also part of her rp and the AO reflects this trait. She is a bit more bouncy then others with her AO because she loves the outdoors and is not your typical demure/docile slut. But no wild spins. Definitely enough movement though to go with her persona.

Dress- Usually in black or bright colors which include black in the ensemble. She enjoys showing of her figure and will usually dress to enhance it. Preferring shorter camisks and boots rather than heavy kirtles. Although you will find her in those also. Her dress generally reflects a bolder personality and a bit of the untamed nature (i would hope) of Aine. But again, sometimes the nature of RP will find her even more scantily clad, or perhaps more covered. Such as the weather, or perhaps her mood coinciding with RP. Hair is always dressed and changes daily. Long well cared for nails which generally match her appearance. You will always see her in jewelry and baubles as she feels slaves should be adorned to enhance the law of exquisite beauty. Not to mention she just likes pretty things

Speech- Southern lilt to her speech, but has some bits of dialect which denote her services along gor, dependant on how long she was in that region. Hands dance alot during speaking, ranging from random motions to pointing fingers, to simply frantic waving. Definately not shy. Will speak her mind. Can be a bit of a rambler if she's in a good mood. Agressive approach to most conversations ecspecially with other slaves. Direct, Blunt to a fault, and a touch of whimsy/humor. Unlike many slaves, she is NEVER afraid to speak her mind. She will however skirt issues, and perform the lovely -sin of omission- if it suits her needs. Always watching and listening. She does enjoy knowing gossip others don't.

Demeanor- Limit pusher. Brash. Brazen. Vain. Inquisitve. Outdoorsy. Fiercely loyal and protective (but only to a few). Quirky. Highly Intelligent. Blunt to a fault. Independant. Fastidious. Prideful. Bitchy.Passionate (about only a  few people/things) Tempremental/Emotional. Hard worker. Playful. Teasing. Comical. Hard shelled. Indifferent. Affectonate. Evil streak. At times extremely fickle if not in her small circle or it suits her needs. Mostly a loner. Can be reserved or center of attention. Stubborn. Easy to forgive. Secretely prefers everyone happy.Contradictory. Uses many facial expressions- eye rolling (at bonds) Scrunching/wrinkling nose. Knitting brow. Lowered lashes to hide eyes from being read. Bounces weight about alot. Snickers. Arched brows. Variety of smiles & smirks.

AO - Chose one of the default Vista ones, when he walks you'll notice he walks with a slight swagger, almost confidence when he does walk.   I can make a custom AO, but right now lazy and got a lot more important things to spend RL money on.

Dress - Tries to be stylish, but almost always has a northern theme/influenced.

Speech - I talk normal and as grammatically correct as possible.

Demeanor - Calm as I can be, sure, don't care what people say and will take/do what I wish feel is right.
