Just to make sure the IC information spreads even further:

After having returned on tarnsback with official confirmation from contacts Anarch has informed the Red Castes of the city about the impending doom and the armies gathered that were marching along the Vosk on their way to the lands roughly marked as Treve's property.

After this the Red Castes, from the lowest ranks warning their families, to the highest ranks warning the caste-leader of their Home Stone, had managed to slowly inform almost everyone about the threat of war... And although most seemed to neglect Minus, the rumors had also seeped down into the darkest alleys of this town.

Families were soon advised to find hiding places for their valuables. Slaves instructed to create bandages for the infirmary. More regular patrols ordered around the northern Voltai regions just to make sure we'd know when the armies would reach our lands in time. Ships seemed to have stopped docking in Minus for trade, the gossip of war in the area already spreading across Gor.

So ... war will hit our lands soon, what will your character do to prepare for it? How will you become involved to guarantee the glory of your Home Stone? Can you contribute or will you care little enough to let the men get murdered and the women shipped off as new prized slave-girls? Will you flee for your safety as a coward or are you loyal enough to keep serving and protecting the Home Stone you pledged loyalty to till the bitter end?

Nice introduction, Anarch.

I posted some "prep" role play that Gena and I did a week ago to the hidden forums used by the Green Caste of Treve.  We rped getting the infirmary ready for a  possible ... no ... likely  increase in patients.  We prepared supplies, cleaned and sterilized utensils, surveyed our inventory, etc.  It was necessary and rather mundane work ... but it had to be done.  And although we really can't stack stuff and show anything for our efforts ... we DID work together to "help guarantee the glory" of ... our Home Stone, as you said.

We even planned a trip to find/buy/steal more supplies ... whatever it takes.

The Greens are ready!

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT DURING THIS WAR:

Take special note of the fact that the death-timer rule has changed a bit and that "killing" will be impossible unless there is OOC consent on both parties. Any meter-kill will be considered a 4 hour wounded 'period' instead in which you are unable to fight. (No excuse, no wonder-potions that suddenly would heal you again, no nothing... roughly 4 hours of death-timer before you're allowed to 'resurrect' your meter.)

Limit the number of tarns to 3 per side... the BOW will have priority on the right to use their tarns.

Quote
In an effort to solve many problems before they begin we'd like to offer a few guidelines for the duration of the war between Treve and Tarnwald.

Raiding Parties:  MUST come through the raiding landing point. Take note where this is as well as valid exit points.   There is a 4 hour minimum time between raids and rescues.

Limits:  Are to be clearly stated in profile or IM'd to your captor as soon as possible.

Captures:  Lasting three (3) days maximum, will allow for the flow of RP back and forth. (unless agreed upon by both parties).  ALL captives are to remain between the two sims involved, if you are an ally of Tarnwald, you MUST RP your captive IN Tarnwald.

Collarings:  Don't have to be permanent, play them out, or remove at the end of your capture.

Moderation:  No resetting, refusal of binds or TP out of RP without a ruling from a moderator from either side. In the name of spontaneity, go with the flow of the RP and air any breach of sim laws/ROE with moderator after the rp.

Ratios:  We will agree on a 2:1 ratio as per Treve sim rules, no one is to enter the other sim for the purpose of stealing captives without at least one defender present.

Binding/Aiding:  Treve does NOT allow self unbinding, Tarnwald does NOT allow aiding; please refer to the updated rules at the landing point.

Death: Dedicate 30mins of roleplay prior to execution.  Death is treated automatically as a grave injury, duration to last no longer than 4 hours. (meters will be set to kill as a means to time the duration of the injury only).

TARNS:  Limit of 3 per side on any encounter.  Tarnwald does use regenerating tarns, Trevians are welcome to use similar should they with for the duration of the engagement, however, there are advantages to the Treve tarn over regenerating ones.

Occupation:  Expect to be killed on sight if found within the city of Treve, however, in effort of including the city within the engagement, ALL IC knowledge of Treve is to be forgotten at the end of engagement.

Goals denoting end of conflict:  48 hours occupation on either side will declare victory and and end to the engagement.

Combat with Arians:  A no-no.  As their sim is rather non-combative, we will be avoiding any and all combat with Ar even whilst in Tarnwald.  Please IM an administrator prior to engagement if you happen to spot those from Ar on sim, they will pull out of the subsequent scenes.

Please be mature in this war... no meter-resetting, no invalid calling ... bring all concerns to the Warrior chat, combat will -not- be interrupted because somewhere someone bumped his knee. All issues will be dealt with after combat is over, in the best cases you'll get a "get out of jail"-free card if the other meanies indeed did something wrong.

This event is supposed to create RP for -everyone- Treve... not just the Warriors.

I would like to make sure i understood well:

If Tarnwald raids Treve: aiding allowed, self unbinding not allowed
If Treve raids Tarnwald: aiding not allowed, self unbinding allowed

Or is there an agreement between Treve and Tarnwald so that there will be neither aiding nor self unbinding during this war on both locations?

If Tarnwald raids Treve: aiding allowed, self unbinding not allowed  Correct
If Treve raids Tarnwald: aiding not allowed, self unbinding allowed  Self unbinding is not allowed in Tarnwald.
