I'm going to return my "tablet" for a kindle.
I'm wondering if they've disabled the voice reading of the books or
if anybody's tried listening? I'm guessing the voice option would
get confused reading gorean.

I bought the last six books of the series for my kindle. They are all voice enabled. It is great. I let the kindle read to me as I work in Photoshop, Blender, or ZBrush, or as I make supper, or while I do many other things. I love my kindle.

For me, I find the unabridged audiobooks, narrated by Ralph Lister, a great option. I download them in MP3 format and listen to them whenever I can. Currently only books 1-4 have been released, but additional books are being released almost monthly.

aye, yes. I like the unabridged audiobooks as well.. But at some point I may want to jump ahead, or it may take longer to release.
So far though I'm loving my kindle as well. The speech is surprisingly good at all but a few words and tonight I read another two chapters
of "Outlaw..." + its small enough for work!
