Those of you who have been around a while may remember her. She was a terrific role-player and an integral part of Thentis during their heyday. She has been battling cancer for the last year and passed away last night at 2:30 AM (Australia). She will be missed by many.

I got to really know Allison when we moved the camp to Thentis for a few months. Classy role-player and classy lady. To quote Storm, my Captain  "'This is why RFL is so important.' and he is 100% right.

I am sadden in my heart. I go back along way also and knew her well. Even though it was not on Beast.... my heart to her family and friends. It is indeed a tragedy I take in deeply. I have no words to give when those I have come to care for have left but am glad to have kept them close even on Beast. Sighs heavy...

My condolences to her friends and family members, a great battle has been lost, though a new life has begun. Thank you Allison for all that your life shared with us.

One of the most kind people I have ever had the honour to play with and talk to. When she told me about her fate, I was unable to say much...out of sheer admiration of how she accepted things, how she was more worried about her family then herself. If any of her family reads this... Be proud you had a woman like her amongst you..even the little bit of her we on SL have gotten to know was astonishing. She will be missed.

<3 you Allison, wherever you are.

Rest well Allison, you've earned it.

As of late I've found myself mourning the loss of far too many of our own, taken from us so soon.

How sad.  I got to know her primarily on her slave alt.  I even had my way with her once in a tavern, right in front of an Initiate who was attempting to teach a kajira geometry.  It was some damned funny RP.  Classy lady.  She will be missed.

Lady Tomas Flax aka 'Flaxie', Gor's most glamorous

« 08. March 2011, 01:14:59 »
Oh no, I have just seen this by chance. This comes as a big shock.

I knew Alison had been diagnosed with cancer, but she had told me in January she would be around for a good long while yet.

Alison was a Cardonicus old-timer and a really excellent roleplayer. So clever! She even managed to stage a coup d'etat in Cardy and become Ubara for a short while, something I never managed to pull off (grrrr). She Rp'd in Thentis for a long time as well, I believe.

We Old Cardonicans have lost two of our number very recently (Sitchmo Dagger and now Alison Cortes).

I have been missing Alison's presence a lot. I am glad I got the chance to thank her for her excellent Rp and good sense OOC before she passed on.

I will let the Cardonicans know.

I remember that coup, Tomas. I was in Cardy on my own slave alt for quite a while. She was an amazing role-player and I had the good fortune to know both sides of her. Though we hadn't spoken for a very long time now, she will ever be remembered fondly. For her excellent stories, her fire, her enthusiasm, and passion. I find it difficult to mourn someone who put so much passion into their living years.

I want to thank Flaxie to let us Cardonicans know about the passing of Allison (the only time I ever thanked Flaxis, I usually ban her Tongue)

I met Allison  off Gor, years ago,  before she started with us in Cardonicus, She was her beautiful, intelligent, classy, generous self, with a true slave heart of a woman, that unfortunately got hurt too often from so-called online Masters.

She had her own private beautiful  sim with a tasteful grand residence full of BDSM equipped rooms. She allowed the public to access it and use it. Allison was very kind and as I mentionned, a true submissive. I say that to honor her memory as a woman.

On Gor she learned indeed very fast  and became an amazing roleplayer, not hard when you are endowed with the intelligence she had.

Sadly, the saying about the best going first is proven true too many times. We have indeed,  and still are,  witnessing the passing of too many of our Gorean friends or their struggling   with painful and often terminal disease.

May Allison rest in Peace

That came as a kick in the head. Thanks Victor for telling us all. I knew her a long time ago on my old AV, and am sorry to hear she is gone from us.  She will be, and has been, missed.
