Those of you who have been around a while may remember her. She was a terrific role-player and an integral part of Thentis during their heyday. She has been battling cance for the last year and passed away last night at 2:30 AM (Australia). She will be missed by many.

Allison played a couple of characters and each expressed a part of herself. Her mains were Alli, and Brianna Garside. Some people may remember Brianna from Fina a few years ago - she was kajira and like anything Alli did was well thought out, complex, and a very fun character. She had a way of putting a little of herself into everything she did.

A wonderful woman who's message is very clear to those who would look for it. You can find it in my picks if you missed it.

Alli was a humble woman who's company I had the pleasure of, and she would never understand how much she's missed.

I will miss beating you for not selling timber to the villagers, and laughing with you in IM at the horror others expressed about the harshness of your life, begging to be allowed to buy you and save you from such cruelty.
I will miss throwing your soft pixels over the well in the middle of Sais and using you mercilessly. Listening to you moan as your body shuddered in the grip of a girls slave needs, and people ran blushing to their homes.
Most of all I'll miss the quiet moments when two friends just sat snuggling and talking.

I wont miss hearing the pain and weariness in your voice as the cancer took hold.
I wont miss when treatment took your energy and you could only be held tightly in the arms of a man.
I wont miss when words didn't flow for you. They always flowed for you, until they couldn't any more.

I'm glad you don't hurt anymore. You didn't deserve to.

Travel well beautiful slave-girl. Peace is yours now.

I know how much she meant to you Klaus. She was a beautful person and to see a life struck down so young is such a tragedy. You and her family are in my prayers.

Its a tragedy.

The hardest part was being there with her ....sitting in voice as we wrote, and she knew she was dying. You could hear it in her voice and in her words. Allison was a smoker and she knew her addiction had cost her a life. She dealt with it bravely but how do you honestly confront the fact you're 41, dying, and you did it to yourself?

I don't think I've ever known a braver woman and to write with her and help her express what was lingering inside was an honor.

Alli wasn't a chain smoker - far from it. I wont jump on the "anti-smoking band wagon" and respect peoples choice on the matter, but for her - put yourself in that place she was in and ask the question. Is it worth it? Its the best way you can honor the memory of a beautiful woman lost.

I'm so sorry Klaus. I can tell by how you describe her how much she meant to you. I did not have the honor of knowing her but believe me, she was as equally gladdened to have you in her life. You bolstered her spirits when she needed it and were there for her. Proves what a wonderful man you are as well. She is even now looking down on you and smiling.

When we left Treve and moved to Thentis for a time, I got to have the pleasure to get closer to her. We had a storyline going of working new alliances for Thentis and renewing old ones. She would Im me and tell me she was on chemo but would be there to help us with the scrolls and seals when we needed her. I will never forget that. She loved the community, She loved Gor... and I think the times she was on she could for a little bit forget about the cancer, her pain, her sickness and just be Allison... I am glad I had the pleasure to get to know her. We laughed... she liked my gor jokes and she enriched my life.  I miss her. Cry

I'm the dude playing the dude disguised as another dude.  Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats.
