I was courious with everyone talking about Norman using a ghost writer so .. I emailed his publisher. Below is the reply I got back when asked about him using a ghost writer or maybe even one of his sons writing for him ....

in germany we say "papier ist geduldig", meaning the patience of papers, i.e. you can write anything you want on it. i do not know this guy who is his agent and publisher but in my opinion norman has hardly written all the book. i simply do not believe it.

and he is quite old now. i suppose the problem is the fact that in the past years as far as i know, he published one volume a year. and this is quite a lot of work.

i am no writer but he must at least get some help from others when doing so.
