I realize I'm WAY late in the game but I did finally have an IC reason to visit Treve and I was impressed with what I saw.  The build was very detailed.  I was there mid week in the afternoon and there were 10 people on the sim.  Pretty decent for that time of day.  Anyways good luck to you, Mord.

As for "What Treve has turned into" (Dana's words)...I must say, Treve is still and will always be Treve. Home to many, whether they wander or not. We, that have remained true to our homestone, are drama free and peaceful. We too, could throw stones, yet choose to hold our heads high and be the proud Trevians that we are! I wish the best to all of you, of course and do hope you will pop in from time to time and visit your -home. It is rumored, you know, once you have called Treve home it is in your blood and well, home is always home.

Love to you all...best of wishes to you all...Treve will not rise again, because Treve never fell!  Kiss

This made me laugh.

From what I can see it appears Treve has lost 7 of their council members to another sim with the last few months -   followed by a hell of a lot of of their players.
I looked at the traffic listings and Treve is only 9k today after a Friday night   Huh    There is never anyone there when I do go.

I think the current leaders should really ask themselves what they did wrong to take the busiest sim in Gor and turn it into a graveyard...

@ Rhylee
Good for you Rhylee, I know what you are going thru and your right, Treve has not fallen. A city never falls until all her Citizens stops caring for her....Or the Priest Kings say so but thats another Matter
@Rich
I disagree with you Rich, I have only been in SL Gor for a few months, but have played SL RP in various Forms for years now, its been My exp that when change of control of a RP sim Takes place, there is always a "Mass Exodus" as the Players will generally fall into one of the two Camps, Those who accept the change, or those who do not, Neither are wrong. But yes that means that Usually Lower Traffic will occur for a time I would suggest you take a look inside yourself and ask this. Treve is a Great City, What can I do to help them.

Basically you're saying "Ask not what my country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country," right? Wink

It is not the recent changes in leadership that caused me to leave. It is the unwillingness of the current council to listen to its citizens, especiallly those that have been in Treve for many months and who can see difficulties coming a mile away. They are not only ignored, but told that if they dont like it, they can get the hell out. One of the councilmembers brought a discussion we had in IM;s, which  had nothing to do with treve whatsoever, into groupchat for all to see.. right after he removed me from the Warriorsgroup after i hurt his pride. The simowner, who is responsible for the actions of the council, did nothing when i told her. She merely kept telling me to find a better place if i did not enjoy Treve.

i wish all those that left all the best, good rpers one and all, well maybe not grondar hes too fond of the paga and girls, or is that rp done well.......who knows, unless anyone actually wants to harm treve can we please stop this, people have left and the ones that are staying are more than capable of building it up again, and gor would be lesser place without treve, what would you all have to talk about in the forums if there was no treve Cheesy

You already stated in an earlier post that I was the one who removed you from warriors group Mord.  Your comments I was responding to in City group chat was the unproductive and what I considered subversive. Your IMs to me weren't very kind and taunting and as you said from the beginning you choose to believe whatever you want to believe, don't support what I'm doing nor my IC role and I'll respect that and let you be on your way.

I saw that you were unhappy in Treve and didn't like the way that it was being run by the council for months before anything happened. Your exit was a good choice for both parties.

I'm not going to trash talk you because I'm going to take the high road on this and do wish you well because I know you DO have a good side to you that people appreciate.  As I told you before, you don't have responsibility to hinder you now and can do anything you wish.  It's second life and supposed to be your fun and entertainment,  when it becomes something that bothers you to the level it seems to be-  you make positive changes.

My view on the "Excodus" is that Anarch with the help of a lot of people created something that people have been looking for for a very long time and working on for weeks before anyone left: Btb Outlaws.  In those weeks it has been developed and executed with percision and I applaud the hard work it took to achieve this. With the experience that they bring to them I have no doubt that it will be successful and do wish them the best of luck,  those talents and skills will be missed.

People are attracted to the New and exciting, they are attracted to the fashionable.  Example:  Theres a few Pani sims out there now.  Just like any other themed sims you will probably have your copy cats that will think they can do it better and create their own.

Treve will be there just the same, but different.  From this point and with this base of people, we can get back to basics and build up with a clearer perspective of what is right, and at this point know how to keep a stable foundation in the sim and stability on the direction of the council. There are things in the works and investments that will be paying off shortly.  I'm personally not concerned about the 9000 in traffic...  The people I am seeing here are worth 50,000 in my opinion.

Thanks Vido I can tell you that Tarn is off the paga , he drinks ramberry juice and he has cut it down to one slave girl a week, Smiley
as I said to you in ims we wish Treve all the best and airing the reasons for a large chunk of active rpers leaving would not be productive for anyone but suffice it to say it had nothing to do with the change of ownership of the sim, very different reasons indeed prevailed

I helped Anarch build and furnish his sim as we are very close OOC and i was helping a friend/partner -  but I nor anyone else was not intending on moving there full time nor leaving Treve.

I and the other 4 mods only decided to leave after we felt we had no other choice and for reasons that are best put to bed.  Absolutely no hard feelings here.
Not an issue,  it happens -  I moved on and have channeled my energy elsewhere.   There was no plan -  we were just desparate to make it work and have somewhere to play and feel appreciated -  Anarch provided that.

I have no wish to get into any further arguments, I love Treve, love the sim and I love the people.
That some players decided to follow to a new sim is most certainly not anyone at Clearchus' fault and to read comments that we have 'stolen' players is just daft - we did NOT actively poach for the new sim as some have suggested.  We respect the decision of those who stayed and ask that the decision of those who wanted to leave be respected as well.

If people are happy in a sim they will stay there, thats the bottom line.

Treve is famous!  It will be fine.

I am the first to admit I didn't RP enough in Treve.  It was soured for me and it was time to move on.   I truly hope that everyone can please stop the accusations now and we can put this behind us.  perhaps Clearchus is just a novelty sim and won't last -  I don't really care -  we are having a blast finally and thats all that matters.     It's a game guys!
