[07:17 AM]  Jan Oran " why are there always so many stairs to the damn temples could that not have been built on the flat" i huff and puff and sweat
[07:18 AM]  Jan Oran i lean againt the wall and blow and wipe my brow " are you thew temple guard"

[07:21 AM]  Ronald Petlyakov turned around from the prayer at the sound of the footsteps in the secluded temple. Wolf knew there were not many around, even less to come and pray and those of the temple guards who were left alive were busy drinking and toying with their slaves. Wolf's hand than moved upon the handle of his blade to ensure a quick draw and he turned, slowly, to see who addressed him. "Tal, I am not pledged to the protection of this holy site, no. there are others though." he said and straightened his posture when he noticed that the man's cape was white.

[07:23 AM]  Jan Oran i move forward and lean on the font and splash a little of the water on my brow " then if your devotions include getting a hungy priest some cake or something savoury i am sure that would stand you in good stead" and then i stand up to my full height which is not very tall "i am jan i have been sent here to look at what state this place is in " and i look around disparagingly "i assume the locals are an unworthy lot"

[07:29 AM]  Ronald Petlyakov the comment about the cake registered, but it did not bring a change to Wolf's dour expression, but it went without saying that it did not impress him to hear such words, religious zealot or not. "the locals... they had perhaps other troubles to mind. Their faith is shaken, fundations have crumbled along with this temple when the men of the north came to plunder and razed the place to the ground...but perhaps we are lucky if the efforts of the Wardens of this temple would be now supported with the guidence of the blessed one"

[07:33 AM]  Jan Oran with a look of slef importance "i have been sent to infuse some religious zeal in this unworthy lot, a mere stepping stone on my way to being high initiate, but i look around and see no offerings of food here, nor anything of value at all, no wonder they are in such a state of despair, prise to the priest kings bring its own reward, and from what i see they deserve none" and as i still sweat i fiond a seat "tell me who is in charge in this unholy place"

[07:39 AM]  Ronald Petlyakov: "the men of the Voltai have forgotten of their duties towards the high ones.. It is a shame, but has also been the fault on behalf of..." here Wolf paused and would choose his words carefully. He would not wish to cross one of the blessed men afterall. "What I ment to say is that without the guidence of one of the priests religious zeal is hard to inspire and the captain of the temple guard, Vlad, an old veteran from the north. "seemed to be quite busy and spending all the offerings on maintaining the temple and his men." wolf lied. the fact was that Vlad spent all the money on whores, good food and finnest mounts, but it were best not to raise the initiates blood preasure for now, Wolf figured.

[07:42 AM]  Jan Oran if jan knew that he and vlad would get on like a temple on fire, eatting being high on his list of devotions "this vlad i must meet him soon, the sacred temple should not be defiled by the unholy, even if it has seen better days, i will of course require to meet the headman of yonder village, i passed through it on the way here and not a single person gave suitable offerings to keep my body whole and healthy today, that is scariligious to the extent that heads should roll" and i look you up and down for a bag of some sort " tell me have you any lunch about you"

[07:44 AM]  Ronald Petlyakov: "The village is a nest of peasants and merchants and although they have their headman there are other masters, bandits from the voltai, who tax the place and protect it. This domain lays in the shadow of the great tarn of Treve." he uttered, his voice lowered, He would not wish for anyone else to become privy to the conversation.

[07:46 AM]  Jan Oran "then i will go to this village and see what they have there for me, it has been a long time since breakfast, its called minus i belive"

Awesome temple!

I do hope to see some more Initiates around! This role, and the whole religious pomp that goes with it, is sadly too rare around SL Gor (the restriction from the touch of women might well be one of the reasons).

Best of luck on this endeavor. Dukmi jaw koo!
