I've been a slave a very long time.. 13+ years both in rl and sl.. I found the orignal post to be apreciative of slaves.. Granted there are part many do not agree with.. I'm going to add a spin on it..

  Thank you to all the slaves who have been :

  Lied to.
  Used and not in the pleasnt ways..
  For sticking it out in the face of assholes and bullies and not giving up on who you are.
  For not letting petty bullshit rip you apart.
  For finding the strength to go on when so many here wish to destroy who and what you are..
  For having the ideals and  a personality of your own.
  For having the guts to stand up and not be treated like a piece of garbage.
  For finally realizing you do NOT have to do everything someone tells you..


Kudos for those women who battle beyond the norm, the bullshit, the player, deceivers, the users and abusers.. AND still are beautiful women inside and out..

I like this better than my list.

You dont think men are lied to, abused mentally, hurt, stepped upon and treated like garbage or used?

Maybe they dont shout about it so much, but being close to some i have heard cruel stories of broken hearts as well. Women pretending to be a soft victim and ending up being a drama queen and a true monster.
I have heard of lies told, that you dont believe your own ears. I have met men leave Sl for the same reason, free women, panthers too...we are all humans and humans get hurt when they meet people with the heart in the wrong place.

We come with who we are and we give from what we have to give

Lets move on now, thank eachother for good times, for those who care for us and love us - lets focus on the good in people, take responsability for ourselves and others well being - and know when its time to step back taking a little brake.

Beautifully said.  None of us -- whether we RP free man or woman or slave -- is immune to the whims and follies of asshats who use SL as a ground for mindgames and abusing other people.

Just to make an observation, all I've read on this forum lately about roleplaying a slave makes me not want to roleplay one.

You should role-play a slave if it is something you would like to do. What you shouldn't do is take a collar from the first master man that comes along. Be picky, be suspicious and you will be safe.
