I would love it!  I wish both Players and Magicians were used for scenes.  It would certainly change the often staid presentation of Gor by adding many things you never see in SL Gor from brothels to theaters with magicians.  The fun side of the genre.

The time when Cor of the multicolored cloak and his troupe of travelling players set up in Laura and put on real IC performances was a huge turning point in my SL Gor.

Watching a performance as a character in an RP performance just clicked something in me about the limitless possibilities of roleplay.  A scene within a scene felt so surreal.  When they weren't performing, they had great interactions with the residens that furthered everyone's story.

Sorry I suck at putting out quotes.  I know Ven quite often performs the heart eating ritual and a few other more spiritual/nature oriented beliefs, thanking of fates and spirits of nature.  I try to incorporate more of Ven's beliefs into RP when calls for it, nice way to further flesh out and add something new and different to the general day to day.

The Red Savages (Blood-Brothers) explain a bit about their beliefs, the spirits and medicine world/beasts.  One scene in particular is rather interesting where Hci has the spirits of his shield 'betray' him exposing him to an attack because he swore upon it to show his conviction of a story he told, yet he was lying and the spirits took exception to that.

I wonder if he didn't use the terms sorcerers and magicians sort of interchangeably?

I can't help laughing when I think of such a character in Gor though.  I had a friend who really wanted to play a magician but I disuaded him from trying.  As authentic as it is, I can just imagine the reaction if this popped into a sim.

Oh God...I would constantly think of "A Magician named Gob" from Arrested Development and couldn't keep a straight face if this happened.
