I saw some Kurii avatars the other day and I was curious if anyone uses them.

For that matter, does anyone actually play out the battle between the Priest Kings and the Kurii in Second Life?

I hope not Master.

A kurii would be awesome in fight, like a superbeast against a normal warrior. Sounds to me like cheating character.

And Priestkings are only in Sadar, would be a boring roleplay i guess..giggles

I wonder if they are some nice Kurii Avatars available? I saw a few in some shops, but ugly like hell *grins*

Well... I think if you meet one Kurii the month it would be interesting RP, something special. But I guess it would be the same like female warriors - allow one and the other days you have one millione tribes full of leather and breasts *grins again*

Oh, I love breasts - promise.
Only the combination of both is most of the times kind of... strange.
(If the leather is not part of a nice gorean kurt)
Usually I must look twice if I am really at a Gor Sim *smiles*

BTW - a few months ago I read at the good old Isle of Bliss, that they had the idea to change the Sim to a gorean Kurii Place. But it seems that the idea was not the best at all, when I went there the last time it was no longer Gor.

As far as i know they changed the sim after the Jasmine meltdown to a city combat area. Nothing gorean at all, only to have fight RP with no sense.

I dont know what there is now, havent been there for months now.

And wasnt it Master Falco who thought about building a kurii Sim ? Im pretty sure about that. Looks like his decision has changed because his Sim is WSS..smiles

P.s.: And i do remember, that you liked combination of leather and breast  Tongue

Aye, one Kur now and then... maybe an RP Moderator that develops a story... that might be fun.
Priest Kings... no way. They would never act "openly".

A Kur as a permanent Character... very unlikely. That would not run well with the flow of Gor.

You didn't read the books, right? *evil grin*
Otherwise you would know where Tarl met a Kurii for the first time *sticks out tongue to the girl*

The beast got astray in anderas model of SS in her skypod or sandbox or whatever it is. Then it came over to andera, Bette and me and offended my Kajira several times by saying: "You beast, slut, I'll spank you - I'll teach you how to welcome visitors, wench, I'll beat the hell out of you, you'll get a spanking girl and I'll spank you and beat you or beat and spank you and then beat you, I'll teach you how to..." I asked the being if it needed a shaving and if it had a scratch on its record because its needle was always jumping in the same gouge... Well, if you meet a Kur: Thats the speech they obviously understand *laughs* But andera liked the ava a lot... And Sucas right about that by the way... The Kurii is even on the cover of the original english "Tribesmen" edition - holding a girl in his arms ;-)

Suca is right that Tarl met a Kur in the Tahari.
But the first time Tarl met Kurii was in the north.

The Kur on the cover of the original Tribesmen edition is unfortunately terribly inaccurate.
Norman described the Kurii as furred "animals", largly resembling a bear/wolf mix, furred, protruding and wide snout.
The thing on the bookcover looks like a naked golem... very similar to the green guy from the trashbin in Sesame-Street :p
