I've been contracted to design the coins for the City of Cyprianus and I'd like to put a phrase on each of them, similar to the way that American coins have "E Pluribus Unum" in the design.  My first thought was "Ta-Sardar-Gor" but from what I can see, its only said when offering libation.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

oh what a wonderful idea!  How about .....

jai a keh'ra greshak tahem jula = May you fly upon wings of glory.
Ga va shiva = Go in peace
Jan di ashe drena kanta vethuk lina = travel with an open mind and heart.
Jai na ven sev a lae an she'vo a porte = May your day bring happiness and joy to you.

Although you might wish to check them in case one got them incorrect...

Mmmmh... We will forget all friendly phrases... Cyprianus is not about peace and love, far from that....

i cannot help much with common phrases but this link below is a very useful resource for gorean words. maybe you can make some of your own phrases up to better fit the gritty theme!

How about  'lioba en Dom '   worship one homestone

That sounds kinda cool.  Is that in the books, or did you piece it together from different sources?

The "jai a keh'ra greshak tahem jula = May you fly upon wings of glory" sounds pretty good too, and doesn't strike me as peaceful, just a proverb of prosperity.

I don't think whatever phrase gets used necessarily needs to be in the Gorean language, but should be something from the books and not necessarily tied to any one caste like "Within the circle of each man's sword."

After doing a little digging, I found a pretty cool phrase.....   "Bala, Doo, a Tarn and Degalb, Woo Nadru Degalb!!!" ( Wind , Steel , A Tarn and Honor . ABOVE  ALL HONOR!!).  However, I'm think only the "Above All Honor" part would be best for the coin.  The only thing is, I've only been able to find this on two websites that seem suspect at best (using the old Y/you syntax).  Does anyone know what book this appears in, if any?  Of course, if the Gorean translation is incorrect, it sounds pretty damn good in Latin too "supra omnem honorem."

It might not be important for the project itself, but that site is full of onlinisms, under the premise called the Kassar language. I may be wrong here, but most of the words provided on that website are not entirely accurate and most are actually made up, composed from other science fiction texts.

Even so, back to the topic at hand, I suggest you simply write it in English. Latin, greek or even a Gorean phrase (if you can find a good accurate one) is nice and all, but nothing substitutes the lingua franca of SL Gor.

Could do the Gorean Men are still Human, instead of building a grand chest beating , could use a humbling phrase to keep folks down to earth and hard working.

I think you could use Ta Sardar Gor.  The Priest Kings are highly worshipped, thought to be everything from high powered beings to Gods. Goreans are superstitious; regnizing higher beings on the money seems like a good way to placate the Priest Kings when it comes to the handling of currency.
