Another horrendous attack was uncovered today as the "naked" body of Lady Cheyenne was found battered and bloodied in the burial area. Despite conjecture that she may have been trying to hang herself, or that her half kurri FC had become too passionate resulting in her wounds... rumours are circulating that she was attacked by a man who had been seen prowling around Minus... descriptions are vague at the moment.

Perhaps other citizens can elaborate  ?

(please no OOC comments.. only what has been discovered IC)

The Lady Cheyenne, now recuperating from Her capture gave this account of the events to a Guard of Treve...

"I was taken By a Male whom had appeared at first non threatening, He wore the Clothing of a Taharian Merchant, recognisable to Myself from My own time in the desert. He was extremely rotund, extremely overweight with much facial hair, dark in colour, His eyes were unusual in their shape, hooded and almost having the look of one whom partook in the recreational use of drugs
The Male appeared to have left Our lands, but it subsequently turned Out He was hiding and Later took Me by suprise, first making a inappropriate advance towards Myself, then lunging and rendering Me unconcious... the next thing I am aware of, was waking, bound gagged and hooded.
I managed to Make My escape and after half a day of walking in the blistering heat of the Tahari I made it home via boat, where I was found by what I can only describe as a person of 'resricted growth'.."

Following the disappearance of Chey, I was able to "convince" (doesn't elaborate on the details of the actual convincing but had something to do with a cracked skull) a dock hand to reveal what he knew of the ships that had came and went that day.  He told of a ship with a male dressed as a merchant in possession of a female matching Chey's description. He is able to give the possible destination of the ship as being Sand Sleen and confirmed the direction the ship set sail.

starts to make notes about this, but his handwriting is so bad, he just commits to memory "Fat, ugly, dark hair, smack head and from sand sleen" Got it !!!

gazes over Carter's shoulder as he tries to write... watching the hieroglyphic looking figures placed on the scroll.  She puts her lips to his ear and whispers, "Good thing you're a warrior and not a scribe,"  then smiles when he tears up the rence paper and mutters to himself over and over, "Fat, ugly, dark hair, smack head and from sand sleen".

After spending an evening of shopping, paga sipping and "girl talk" with her best friend and sister kajira, she wakes up a bit groggy (read: hungover), vaguely recalling a note left for her Master. Ciele learns of the beautiful Mistress Healer's bad fortune, the fat smack daddy from the desert and feels that while this informaiton may be known, it may perhaps be best shared:

After visiting with her sister who has recently been collared by a Master who defends Tem Wood, ciele learns that the Lady Talena from Sand sleen has visited Tem Wood in an effort to form an alliance.  It was told to ciele by her friend that Lady Talena has shared that an alliance had already been formed between the Pasha Guru of the Oasis of Sand Sleen and Tyros and that the invitation to join in this alliance has been extended to Tem Wood.  Being a colony of Tyros, this makes sense to ciele yet she dismisses it... she and her sister went on to drink a bit more paga and gossip about other more significant things like their respective Masters and the size of their...uhmm weapons. <ahems>  As ciele returns to her Master's home and leaves the note for him of this information she drifts off to a fitful sleep only to wake and learn of this information.  As she lies on her pillow and tries to recall the events from last evening, she wonders if the animosity between her beloved Treve and Tyros and Tyros' newly formed alliance with the desert denizens has anything to do with all that has transpired...she wonders if her Master will take action.. if she should perhaps beg audience with Master Carter and share her offerings.. then she considers if the idle gossip and second hand information from two paga drinking sluts would be taken seriously....she decides she will wait for her Master to return and beg his advice....in the meantime ciele will visit the lovely Mistress Healer to offer support as she mends.

After scouting the Tahari in the blazing sun, JD, Moody and Carter questioned the citizens of the tahari and after being lied to, misled and generally confused with the strange dialect, taharian warriors where captured and brought Treve for questioning.

Lady Chey was asked to identify the men but to no avail, despite assurances that the Trevans only sought the attacker. the taharian warriors refused to assist and one was killed and fed to the tarns outside of Minus.

It was uncovered that the taharians of sand sleen are in an alliance with Tyros..so the rumour of this is now confirmed and may have been the reason behind the attack

The search continues

After meetings with representatives from Sand Sleen, the attacker of Lady Chey has not been discovered.

Some may say, the taharians are protecting a rapist in their midst

Some may say, he was a Tyros agent hiding in Sand Sleen to provoke Trevan forces to seek revenge and thereby forge a closer alliance against Treve.

Who knows ? what we do know is a taharian is dead and the attacker on Lady Chey is still at large.

sighs.. another RP storyline falls to the kerbside ... and then people complain that they are just sat around doing nothing. Oh well pearls before swines and all that  Undecided

Would have been nice if sombody had an issued an order to the warriors..ermmm  to demand the man be handed over from the taharians, perhaps given them an ultimatum.. hand him over or we burn the place... or kill every man in the place as a warning .. or in compensation hand over 2 slaves.. or we kidnapped somebody..or get BC to kidnap, torture and kill the man or any accomplices we care to make up.. that ambassador seemed guilty to me    ... or we just forget the whole thing and wander around saying Tal  and have tea and cakes Roll Eyes

some bloody ruthless arrogant Goreans we are... sighs and goes off to join the boy scouts
