A call went over the city bringing dismay and shame to those warriors still in their furs who remained in their apartments as the brave few fell wounded and dying.

"19:50]  Loki Landar shouts: Trevans, hear this. We were bested tonight by the forces of the city of Telnus. Our walls were breached, Our Homestone and Citizens vulnerable. An accord was struck, leaving Homestone, Citizens, and the Honor of the Rarii intact. In exchange, Treve is sworn to fight along side and in support of the forces of the City of Telnus against any enemy at any time. Through this, our city may rebuild and our honor be restored."

after days of fighting.. driving out the forces from Minus in a suprise attack, taking prisoners and slaves back to the lofty mountain city retreat of Treve.

Forces from the Isle of Cos, returned and by clever strategy against a force of Trevian raiders entered the city using tarns and took down the warriors manning the city walls.

After hours of negotiation... tending the wounded an agreement was settled... Treve and the city of the Isle of Cos have entered into an uneasy relationship of peace. Trevian forces now are honour bound to support Telnus in defending their shores....or are they

The Rarii Blades Sing in Battle!

The hand of the Cosian military has flexed its fist, and struck a heavy blow to the cities of Minus and Treve!   An interview with one of our brave and honorable rarii, Doran Markova, let the following be known.

After holding Minus for days, the rarii were finally able to scout the location of Treve, the once-mythical city of Tarns, and enjoin in battle.  Through the use of secret caves, the rarii were ambushed, and after fierce fighting, the Trevans held the field.   As prisoners were being escorted back to Treve, one of the kajirae escorting our rarii was able to find a way to use a paring knife and cut the bindings of one of our men, who then freed another.  With his brothers freed, Doran and his comrades were able to re-take the city of Minus, holding it for counter-attack against Treve.

Holding one Treve man prisoner, the Rarii then prepared to make the final assault, with the Ubar himself involved in final planning.   Rarius Doran said "with the Ubar in the lead we reformed with the remainder of the Minus Occupation Force and fresh troops from Telnus. We embarked and found ourselves back in Minus at the conclusion of the journey.  The Ubar led the main assault up the mountain path. Our men fought ferociously, taking the road to the gates of Treve hort by hort. Arrows rained down but they were unable to defeat the thick Cosian shields. It did however hamper our attempts to scale the walls, so the Ubar ordered a new plan."

Using the Master at Arms' tarn, three of our valiant rarii were able to find a hidden entrance to a tunnel, and infiltrate into Treve, attacking the flank of Treve, blades gouging steeply into the side of that city, while the Ubar commanded men to keep pressure up on the front gates of the city.

Once discovered when deeply inside the city, our three man team, consisting of the Master at Arms Pokey, and rarii Doran and Hew,  traded arrow for arrow, and then drew blade and shield, as "clashing metal filled the stairways of the small cylinder. The wounded and slain falling down the steep ramps as we fought our way landing by landing to the top. We secured it, and prepared to help the main body of the force enter through the gates." in Doran's words.

In a close turn of events, with rarii down, and Trevans attacking again, the assauting force on the main gates broke through, and rushed into the city, pressing the attack, with the Ubar himself at the forefront!

Doran concluded the tale of Cosian might saying "From there the Ubar ordered the occupation of Treve. From cylinder to cylinder we went, collecting the citzens by force. I was about them in the streets, maintain disicpline and fighting off a few of the hold outs. In time, the Ubar forced, in the presence of their own homestone, the people of Treve to swear to now ally with Cos, and support her in all her future fights. He also took from them one quarter of their treasury, which took many flights of basketed tarn to return to our ships. Even now you can see them sit low in the harbor, waiting to be unloaded."

Upon returning to Telnus, the kajira who used daring and guile to free the rarius, and turned the defeat of Cos to the Victory over Treve, was amply rewarded by her Master.  Kama the kajira was given her own bowl of wine!

The scribes have published the account of the dialogue between Loki of Treve and Shiefo of Telnus.

[18:23]  Shiefo Sciarri takes the leash of Loki and wraps it around his hand, he then helps the man to his feet before he cuts the binds on his ankles and mumbles " One wrong more and you're gone warrior "
[18:23]  Hew Dawid: was waiting for another to return
[18:23]  GMBindings2.3-male(pelvis): Shiefo Sciarri loosens Loki Landar's feet allowing them to walk.
[18:24]  Shiefo Sciarri gestures Loki to follow him
[18:24]  Loki Landar works his way up to his feet, wobbling slightly from the sudden rise, eyes remain focused on Shiefo's, chin hih
[18:25]  Shiefo Sciarri gesture towards the gate " I assume you have a key to that ? "
[18:26]  Loki Landar says simply, nods slightly, expressionless "on my belt"
[18:26]  Shiefo Sciarri nods and reaches for the mans belt, he then takes the key and turns towards the gate to open it. He then makes a grand gesture for the man to enter
[18:27]  Shiefo Sciarri looks around briefly before he turns back towards the warrior " Which way ? "
[18:28]  Loki Landar looks perplexed and shakes his head slightly to indicate he doens't know what the destination is
[18:28]  Shiefo Sciarri lowers his head slightly before he speaks in a demanding tone " The homestone warrior "
[18:29]  Loki Landar: This is the Administrator's tower. Rarii have no reason to enter here.
[18:30]  Shiefo Sciarri nods and begins to move around again
[18:31]  Shiefo Sciarri drops the mans leash and holds his hand up towards him, as if to easy him. He then kneels before the homestone and touches his forehead
[18:32]  Shiefo Sciarri cuts the mans bindings and places the ropes back upon his belt and mumbles " Excuse me ... i did not mean to leave you bound before your own homestone "
[18:33]  GMBindings2.3-male(pelvis): Shiefo Sciarri starts to cut Loki Landar loose.
[18:33]  Loki Landar nods as the man begins to cut the bindings
[18:33]  GMBindings2.3-male(pelvis): Shiefo Sciarri finishes cutting Loki Landar loose allowing them to escape.
[18:33]  GMBindings2.3-male(pelvis): Loki Landar was bound for 0 hour and 36 min.
[18:33]  Shiefo Sciarri paces around slowly and mumbles " I'm not some brute without honor ... and we are only here to claim that honor back, after you attacked our shores "
[18:35]  Loki Landar nods and says steadily and low "you do not have to explain to me the ways of steel and honor. I know these are the ideals that guide you."
[18:35]  Loki Landar: You and your men fought well
[18:36]  Loki Landar: Our wall has never been breached.
[18:36]  Shiefo Sciarri nods and a slight smile comes across his lips " Aye and so have yours sir .... i am Shiefo, Ubar of Cos "
[18:37]  Loki Landar nods attempting to be cordial despite the painful loss "Well met. I am Loki, Commander of the Rarii"
[18:39]  Shiefo Sciarri nods in recognition " Well met indeed Loki ", he turns and looks at the homestone for a few ehn before he continues " Where do you suggest we take it from here .... this mountain range has little value to me, and at first i thought you were brutes without honor ", he looks back at the man and continues with a mumble " You have proved me wrong ... so tell me, what is it you wish ? '
[18:43]  Loki Landar: The men of Treve have honor and fight with skill and coordination from the skies on tarnback and on foot. This is the root of their honor. I wish for this not to be denied them. And the citizens have only known life withhin these walls, provided for by our rarii and tarnsmen. Allow them to return to their lives here, for, beyond the walls, is not their place.
[18:45]  Loki Landar: In exchange, know that the full force and terror of Treve can be aimed at any city in gor. Combined with your naval strength and army, none would stand in opposition.
[18:49]  Shiefo Sciarri nods and cups his chin as he ponders, he paces around and glances at their homestone every now and then. He then turns back towards the warrior and utters " I have claimed a price for the damage you have done to Telnus ", he points at the homestone as he continues " I will leave your homestone in peace, and i will free your men and women ... but i will need your leaders words of honor that they will fight for the cause of Cos, and i will only take one quarter of the city's treasure ", he gazes at the warrior with an inquiring look " Fair ? "
[18:51]  Loki Landar 's glance falls, still uncomfortable with such compromises and talk, but exhales through his nose and nods decidedly, and says slowly but convincingly "Aye... Fair, Indeed."
[18:52]  Shiefo Sciarri nods slowly and touches his shoulder " Then who needs to give me his word on this in the precanse of the homestone ? "
[19:06]  Loki Landar admits, still reluctantly, "I am the senior officer in the city. My word will bind the men and the city to the commitment."
[19:07]  Shiefo Sciarri nods and offers his wrist to the man " Then speak the words of your oath and i will collect the prize and leave your city walls "
[19:11]  Loki Landar clutches the mans wrist and forearm, offering his own, as he stands tall now, speaking clearly and looking the man squarely "Upon my word and honor, you can count of the forces of Treve to fight along side and in support of your forces, those of the City of Telnus, against any enemy at any time."
[19:13]  Shiefo Sciarri nods and clutches the mans wrist, he then looks upon the homestone one last time and gestures towards the stairs " Then i will accept your word and lead the men of Telnus back to their homes, after the crates with treasure have been loaded upon the ships ... let us share wine "

What does this mean the trevians did swear ally with Cos in front of our homestone? *mumbles and grumbles...this only can be a lie*straightens her back and looks around .. we need to travel to that place Sir Drake. If they say we have an ally I want to see the paperwork. If they have none we will see how we end up. *turns around with a quick move not tolerating any disagree and walks off to get her bag with all the scribery utensils
