LANDA CONTINENT RULES

rev. 04/12/2012
Update info: only minor changes

NEW:
- Tours: NO

[- Doors: Landa and Landa II have secret tunnels. The entrances, to these tunnels, are iron and stone doors. They can be identified by their texture. The iron doors are breakable by RP. The RP must be 3 lines 10 words each over 15 minutes. The stone doors are unbreakable and can only be entered and exited by Landa citizens. The locks have a combination lock and no keys.  They cannot be considered opened by a captive unless the captive roleplays putting in the combination.]

Added:
- Stealing keys: NO

- Grapples and/or rope arrows require 3 SHOUTED emotes of at least 10 words each. Deploying a grapple you must actually climb up. No teleporting grapples

- Panthers and Talunas may enter unarmed and dressed as free women or She Urts

- All warrior captives are to be treated with honor (whether or not they deserve it) and will be allowed to spar for release after sufficient rp, but a released warrior shall not raid again for at least 24 hours. Execution was not common on Gor and kills should be rare and with overwhelming IC cause, not personal vendetta.

I won't comment on the laws themselves but only your assertion that execution would be rare in gor.  Impaling and executing ones enemies & outlaws would be normal.  If you mean SL Gor since these are OOC rules I would state that rather than misleading a person about a reality of the genre.

(whether or not they deserve it)

Thought I'd just point out, if this is pertaining to IC, you do realize you're dictating how others RP their character?  Shrugs..  But I get it, your sim, your rules.  I'm just imagining the cries of invalid because a warrior from Landa doesn't feel like he's being "honored"

Having counciled many people on the absolute idiocy of accepting a challenge from a prisoner, I am a bit surprised to see it as part of the rules. The time for a warrior to prove his abilities is in the field of battle.

I found these sentences in the sim rules of Fina our worst enemie. I like it and want to avoid senseless killing. The rest is roleplay.
