Try not to strain your feet and legs though.

Be sure you got good running shoes that are comfortable for running. I hope with your chins hurting you mean that they feel exhausted, because if you mean "physical" pain I'm suspecting it's bad shoes (or maybe a wrong running technique) after 3 kilometers.

When I was in the army, there were tons of people constantly injured to their feet or legs because of all the running we were expected to do during sports-classes. It never were the same people tho, I myself have had an injury like ... 5 times over 5 years, which usually forced me to stop training for 3-4 weeks. So injuries -will- happen when you run alot, just try to minimize them as much as possible by spending good attention to the quality of your feetwear as well as the quality of the surfaces you run on. (Running on side-walks in cities can be a terrible idea because of the flat stone surface being very bad for your feet, especially for people who's legs ain't used to running alot, it's best to run on soft sand park-pathways. Or even better official sport tracks). And don't give up once you had an injury - they're unavoidable, it's like that for almost any sport I'd say.

Ohhh, i love this theme.....
Maybe I could find what I am looking for here......

When it comes to running.....that is big no for me, my knees are damaged and I cant do anything what would be too harsh for them, otherwise i would spend night crying from pain.

But what I would like to ask....
I am very stressed, and naturally very spiritual person.

I tried with tai chi and meditation, but no help.

My brain works 24/7, even when I relaxing watching movie my brain in same time work how to solve problems i have.

Sick child, devorce, finding job, family fights.....all finished with me not sleeping at all, eating way too much (and if I continue I will start to look like lina as well  Shocked), smoking 2 boxes of cigarettes on day and in general screaming on all around myself without reason.....sighs...I feel like teenager again......

So, if anyone know some new way to meditate and relax what could help to type of person like me, who cant simple force her brain to be blank and to move all thoughts from it, or to stop think about problems...because her brain refuse to cooperate....I would be thankful.

I so miss my times in gym.....I would let all go out while working and was sleeping so calm....but now when I have son, there is no chance I can catch time for it.

haha yes quite.  I'm sure people at my work think I'm being beaten sometimes as I am constantly covered in bruises.
I've found people new to riding are always shocked at how we generally just climb back on when chucked on the ground  Cheesy
(tho I don't fall off that often lol; the wheelbarrow is my biggest nemesis, I'm always walking into it!)

Ahh Akasha *gives a big hug* that is a lot to deal with.  I would think just finding any sort of distraction or hobby and getting some time to yourself would help  and you know if you ever need a shoulder I'm always here to moan to xxxxxxx

Akasha, sounds like you are going through the mill a bit to say the least, I have something that might interest you, something I practise but I am sure there will be practioners near you, and you can learn it yourself, its called Reiki, take a look at this link:-

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reiki

I am a pretty active on the go person, finds it v hard to switch off sometimes, and esp when you are going through so much its nigh on impossible, but, you would be surprised how effective Reiki can be!

Let me know if you try it

hugs
